I tend to have a 'feeding day' being the day ofmy morning weigh in. I do think it kick starts my metabolism and then I pull it right back by the middle of the week and keepthe calorie intake very low in the last two days up to weigh in. Just the way I do it...

It is a 1.2lbs loss for me this week. Content with that although I still have 3.4 lbs to lose this year to reach my goal of 60lbs (not goal weight, just 2010 goal!) which I might just struggle to do.

Had a megabad day at work yesterday, one customer actually swore at me over the phone so I told him I was terminating the call. So he came round to the office and swore at me some more and demanding that i get his parcel for him (which was probably out on a van that day for delivery). Ended up yelling and swearing at a glass window before I asked him to leave.

OMG!!! That is terrible, I'm glad you asked him to leave. I hope you have had better days since and got over the chocolate.

Victory - Well done on your DS loss I am very glad that you have done such a good job with him :T Hope your on the way back Up again ((Hugs))

To everyone else, I know how you are all feeling after being so good for 11 months today I found myself eating a chocolate and a slice of chocolate birthday cake!!! Normally I just ignore them like they don't exists but for some strange reason today I just started eating it unconsciously then 30 mins later terrible tummy cramp and felt all bloated :( So I really don't know why I did it to myself

Good luck to everyone with weigh in tomorrow x

hahaha betty i get like that!

I have 7 days untill i come on, and new years eve im going to be fertile. All of that knowlege from my iphone period app. Ha. Modern technology is great.

Vix this is part of the reason I'm wanting to lose weight. I read somewhere that with a BMI of more than 30 you are less fertile than an anorexic  I dont know how true that is but I've been off contraceptive for nearly two years and I haven't fallen pregnant yet so I'd say theres probably something to it. My BMI is currently 33 and I need to lose another 2 stone to get it to less than the magic 30.

Isn't Chanukah just as bad ?? All those chocolate coins :D

Well my best friends eat tonnes over Chanukah as I thought all Jewish festivals are food based ;)

Well done on your loss this week :T

It can be bad - the customary food at chanukah is indeed chocolate coins, doughnuts and fried potato latkes (patties) and indeed anything fried in oil (as oil plays a large part in the story of chanukah). I managed to abstain from it all this year. But unlike Chirstmas, it is not around you wherever you go and it lasts for 8 days rather than the whole month of December!

You are right, though, that all jewish festivals are food based - it's why diabetes is so prevalent in jewish families!!!!

Lol Vix there's an app for everything!!

OH brought home choc too, so now I feel seriously sick. It might work in my favour tho, since I am sick of it I might not want it so much the rest of the week!

    Well done efrieze and neilersmc!!

I'm not hoping for a loss tomorrow - totm due so likely to be a 'gain'

The thing is Puds I usually know everything in my kitchen but in the run up to Xmas I buy sweets to take round people's houses for social events and stick them in the cupboard. Had managed to completely forget I had this last packet left!
