It looks a dead ringer to this in every way: uncanny really. It's been like that for 8 years now, hurts and makes a large swollen bump on the top of my foot.

Went for a Chinese with Mary this eve, felt weird and then as we were going for a ride his dad rang to say his grandma had died that evening. It was awful. A horrible end to a crap day :(

Looks very painful, I can understand now why you're so keen to get this operation out of the way, even if it might put your new job at risk.
At least you were with Mary when she got the news about her great grandma, rather than being alone and I'm sure she appreciated your comforting words

Morning all,

Weigh in day for me today, and I was 14st 12lbs - meaning I've lost another 4lbs :j:j:T:T:j:j

I can't believe it, I really thought I wouldn't lose anything given my huge loss last week and the amount of drinking that went on on Saturday night, but i suppose there was a lot of dancing too, so that must have made up for it.

Not doing so good with the exercise again, haven't had my wii fit out since the end of last week :o but have got 30 mins of walking to do today. Going to my cooking course this morning and we're making stir fry for lunch, yum. Busy day today as when I get back I'm going to a play group committee meeting, then I've got 3 hours of work, then I'm going to my book club tonight! A quick spag bol for dinner I think.

I would also like to say that all of you are real inspirations. Some of your weight losses (particularly Eric and AllIWant). It really makes me feel like this is something I can do. If I look at the bigger picture and start thinking about just how much I have to lose I get so depressed and feel like it's impossible. But taking it one step at a time, reading your inspirational stories and trying to make life changes instead of go on fad diets is keeping me more positive and making it feel like this might actually be achievable this time. I've lost 16lbs already, only 58 more to go!!!

Have a great day all,
sending you all hugs and best wishes,
Flis xx

Brrr! It is a bit chilly out there this morning! I got weighed yesterday and am happy to report a loss of 1.5 pounds.

I really am pleased, it was my birthday on Sunday and I was worried that the birthday dinner and cake would stop my weight loss, but maybe I wasn't as bad as I thought I was!

Not sure about getting one of those balls to sit on now - if I fall I don't think I will be able to get up on my own (arthritic knees), does anyone have any ideas of exercise I could do that doesn't involve being on my feet? I can do the exercise bike either because my knee won't bend enough to go to the top of the pedal. Swimming isn't possible either at the moment and I really can't afford to join a gym. Mind you last time I had money and joined a gym there was so little I could do there it was a waste of money and time!
I do walk as much as I can but it does cause me a great deal of pain.
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!
