Fantastic eric:T:T:T:T
Puddings - I have had lodgers for the last 8 yrs and found it a very positive experience. Mind you, I deliberately bought a house were I the layout meant I wouldn't have to share a sitting room: made the large front bedroom my bedsit.
I also interview with strict criterea of what I do and don't want so everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet if they choose to move in.
Dropped from 2 to 1 lodger when my OH moved in.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
i was just listening to radio 2 and a woman talking about women in post birth condition and it got me thinking about the image i want and what is possible when your 47 and a male!-we too get that pouch which comes with age and lack of exercise-i got to a bmi of just under 23 and looked too skinny but i still retained a belly. i have stabilised at 23,5ish now and think my belly must be my concession to age!
it could just be your natural shape0 -
WTG Eric!!!!!
WTG all other losers.
I've let the side down again. Was out this weekend, first in a long time. Way too much booze, Chinese before we went out, full breakfast in the morning. And still feel as rough as a badger's rear end. Never again!!!!
9 Days until the big day, needless to say I haven't reached the size I wanted to be hitting the big 4 oh, but am happy to say I could still pull a younger bloke should I have wanted to on sat night :rotfl: Dunno if that's a sign that I'm getting sensible in my old age or just can't be 4rsed with men in general. Think it's probably the latter :rotfl:
Was supposed to be working today, and have Saturday off this week. Called in work and asked to change it, as I still feel real icky. A weekend like that certainly isn't worth it!4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
sadly i tend to agree--the middleage spread! -the program was chatting about how women like victoria beckham regain their figures after pregnancy and the speaker said these people have a team of experts -dieticians counsellorsetc working for them -they have a necessity to be perfect! i only have my willpower which means i 'give' the gym a miss more than i should!--plus my wife doesnt want me thinner!!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

Eric - wow!
Your original bmi of 63 put you in the "super super obese" catorgory - the sort of people that they make tv documentaries about... and now at under 40 you're just sized more or less like a joe average and probably don't even get stared at in the street anymore!
You're an inspiration to the rest of us extreme lardies on here.
Denning & Bb: I'm a soft touch when it comes to sharing, if lodgers want to use the pc or the phone or my washing powder or even in an emergency borrow the car then they can do, so long as what they do, doesnt get in my way. I've nothing in common with either of them but compared to some previous ones that have lived here, the current pair are out of the house a lot, pay up on time and dont abuse my "generosity" either, so if I have to tolerate their mess or put up with endless hours of football on the tv then so be it!Eric_Pisch wrote: »have you checked the rest of that stuff on that site?
it made even me feel sick
but the meat christmas tree is awesome :-)9 Days until the big day, needless to say I haven't reached the size I wanted to be hitting the big 4 oh0 -

some of the stuff on there is gross - the beef milkshake thing for example.

its quite frightening, I would have been one of the biggest contestants on the biggest loser, I was heavier than anyone on season 10 at the moment ...
i have gone from an 8xl shirt to a 2xl shirt, normal XL next :j
hmmm meat tree /drool :rotfl:0 -
My wife just bought home the correct size of jeans for me--yesterdays attempt at getting into a size 32 waist was futile but i am happy that 33 fits me perfectly--i have never heard of size 33 and was dreading being 34!( she assures me that quality jeans have all sizes--im a cheap skate when it comes to spending on clothes but she 'forces' me to splash out because she is tired of me going around with my boxers being exhibited at school!!)mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0
