    Morning all

Welcome Flis :hello: keep posting and there's lots of support here

BB - yes I'm pretty sure you can have porridge oats as a HEB

I'm still not 100% on SW - I just can't seem to be bothered to keep track of the numbers. I am finding it much easier just to use common sense - I'm putting the SW principles into effect though. So I'm having low fat, lean meat, lots of veg, very little in the way of sugar or dairy. But also keen to cut down on portion size. And hopefully the exercise will pay off soon.

More than anything I think i need to get more self control and listen to the angel on my shoulder not the devil!

  • I've lost 2lbs in the last week on the celebrity slim programme. Its working really well and i feel fitter and happier than i have done in ages. I agree that you shouldn't deprive yourself of all treats, otherwise wheres the fun in life?! Its good to have a good balance between being healthy, being a good weight and having a naughty treat every now and then.

It's a loss of 1.6lbs for me this week. Not quite on my target but hoping for great things next week to make up for it. Concerted effort to hit the 50lbs loss next week.

I'm not following any diet (although will begin in January) I'm 12 stone + but I think I have lost some weight due to medication. It's inspired me, for want of a better word, to eat better to lose even more.

I'd like to join you all :)

  • Ah Guys, help please I am struggling-

Sunday we went to London, I had my breakfast at 7 am – it was porridge with half banana and cinnamon… Then I didn't have time to eat all day, by the time it was 9 o’clock I was on the floor crying with hunger – and had a McDonalds chicken sandwich with medium chips and white coffee no sugar

Yesterday was okish- I had one and a half l. water, two cups of herbal tea and two cups of coffee, I know this is bad but I need to reduce it gradually. Also had half of a small glass of orange juice as my breakfast. Lunch was 40gr half fat cheese, 50gr roasted lamb fat trimmed, half a tomato and 5 slices of cucumber with two slices of soya & linseeds bread (110 calories each) and dinner was another slice bread and homemade lentil soup with no oil etc but tomatoes and some veggies.

Today had two crumpets for my breakfast with half a glass of homemade plum juice and 1 tea spoon honey and 40gr low calorie mature cheddar cheese. I drank lots of water and herbal teas. Lunch time was salad made of salad leaves, half a tomatoes, cucumber, 20 gr white cheese, 1 quarter of avocado, some garlic and other herbs with half a tin tuna. It was so yummy. But I had two slices bread again which is 220 cal itself. I had an apple and one banana during the day too. I was so hungry had a bowl of homemade lentil soup.

Then I went to gym to Tums and bums class, I am really trying hard not to eat anything but my tummy is hurting me.

I have the feeling I am doing this quite wrong- I should not feel hungry, what am I doing wrong apart from my eating times are a bit erratic?? I am not weighing myself until Friday morning but I don’t feel like I am losing anything and determination is all over. Do you have any practical help please?:o

And well done to all who is keeping up with this challange and losing weight because it is just too hard and you are doing a great job :T

    :p:p
    Don't forget smiling :):):)
