they wont take my blood simply because im too fat.... grrrr
if only i could be a blubber doner instead of a blood doner, just think all those bony pensioners shivering around the little gas fires wearing the big thick coats even though its the middle of summer, well they could have a blubber transfusion, it would help me out and the government could save on winter fuel payments too, so very mse :-) im obviously a genius.0 -

i cant give blood because of all the crappy drugs I am on, which make me feel so bloody ill, I spoke to the doc about coming of the warfarin on wed but he said no but he will ask the consultant ....0 -
Hi there, I am so glad that I found this thread.
May I please join? I am 5'2 - I normally don't diet, but I do have a problem with my weight as it goes up and down a lot hence I have a wardrobe ranging from size 6 to size 16.
I now packed all the cloths that are size 6/14 and 16 – I must either sell them or give them away as I never want to be those sizes again. I am size 12 now but really would like to go to 10 and stay there forever- ok secretly I do wish to be size 8 but don’t want to tell that to anybody, opps maybe it is too late
I weight myself in this morning, 10 stone and 6.8 or 67 kilos
I also looked at the ideal body weight calculator and it says I must be between 101.1 lbs - 136.7 lbs OR 42 kg to 57 kilos/ lbs and kilos somehow doesn’t add up so I am a bit confused to be honest.
I have a sedentary lifestyle, spend so much time in front of computer because of my work; ah I also blame MSE for that . But I go to gym Tuesdays for Tums and bums, Fridays for Zumba and Sundays for Spinning- I have been doing this last 8 weeks… I did not lose anything, not a sausage that means I really need to look into the way I am eating which I already know is the problem. I am not into crisps or chocolate bars or processed food or butter etc… Maybe food diary will help me too…
Never the less I need to lose, without joining WW or SW because I need to use all my money to paying my debts and Gym membership is enough ….
Today is 6th November so I would say, I would like to be 10.2 by the end off November. Fingers cross x:pDon't forget smiling:):)

Thanks Victory, it's good to hear that WW can work, I am trying to decide which plan I should stick to and follow properly, SW just doesn't fit in with how my life is running at the moment so I am thinking WW just might work (along with a large dose of motivation!! ) I think motivation is where I am lacking at the minute, can't be bothered with most things, need a kick up the bum to get back into it, the weather doesn't help, situation doesn't help but I just don't want to get any bigger. (closes computer to go and hide back under the duvet!!)You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0

wanttobefree - hi, welcome to the thread. 5lbs in about 4 weeks sounds like a pretty acheivable target to me. You said what you're not eating but didnt mention what you are eating? If you can add up, then you dont need ww or sw, simply tot up the calories and when you get to your total for the day then stop eating... and i agree that a food diary might be a good idea ... or you could follow the sw or ww method but not sign up or attend classes? Anyway the support and motivation that you pay for at these classes is available completely free here on this thread, so losing weight doesnt need to be expensive.
I dont know if body weight calculators are as accurate as some people make them out to be: "the ideal weight" who decides what that is? Ok maybe as a guideline but its more important for you to feel comfortable with your own size and shape, even if slightly under or over that shown on the charts. Take care and keep posting :-)0 -
Hi Puddings , mmm yummy puddings, thank you for making me welcome. You are right , I didn't say what I eat... Probably because I eat pretty much everything:rotfl:I know what is healthy , what is not but so far I haven't really been carefull.
For instance, I went to gym this morning , it was 40 minutes urban rebound on the small trampoline and weights etc... It felt good but when I came home, I had the quarter size pizza which was left for me by my house mate - not only that I also a had small-ish bowl of pasta with tomato souce and white cheese. This did not stopped me , I also had two crumpets with jam , and some home made chocolate pudding. Now I am so full and angry with myself. However , this is my bad rack report , I also know that I won't eat anything else today just drink tea or coffee.
Now writting it here makes me feel guilty about todays lunch ( or lunches) I would say... But this is the main reason why I wanted to join to this thread, to control myself , control my eating... I am dreaming of slimmer me and I want it , before it is too late....Don't forget smiling:):)

Going without will only lead to more cravings later on i reckon. It's all about controlling the insulin but you should really ask Eric about the technical stuff :-) We are having a north vs south challenge at the moment, and the invitations open to you but with you being from the South East, I can understand why you wouldnt want to join in, why on earth would anybody want to join the team thats going to lose?0 -
Newbie reporting. Been lurking a while, some pretty impressive stories. Im 210 male, im not fussed what the scales say, just how it looks, don't weigh myself often so I won't be joing the table, but I'll hopefully stick around.
I broadly know what to eat, but with being a student and ineffect eating for one, it can make it an effort/difficult at times.
I have a wee bit of an issue with chocolate, and all things its wicked hands touch. I mainly deal with it by total prohibition, I've cut out all junk food and doing alright so far. I hear 30 days and a habit is broken, so see if that works.
