Lose Weight 31

ok confession time, just ate loads of choc chip cookies. Think it is due to a combination of tiredness, boredom and grumpiness. Past it now tho, regret it then forget it.
will still stick to SW dinner and get right back on track with low syn days for the rest of the week. hopefully no severe damage done ahead of weigh in!!
You've acknowledged it - that's the best thing. I think so long as we know where the mistakes are then that is half the battle.
I can't make my mind up about these weight loss programmes where it is claimed that people are not writing down all they have eaten. Are they in denial, afraid to admit what they have had - or are their portion sizes larger than they think? Not Rachmaninov

Fredsnail, put me down for a +2½but I deserved every ounce of it!
I knew I hadn't stuck to plan this weekend - had a "fat" craving that I just couldn't satisfy - so I devoured sausage rolls (which I usually don't crave!) a huge chunk of brie cheese (with cranberry sauce) and crackers and polished off a bottle of white wine (I'm usually a red girl)!
As if that wasn't enough I had lunch with my mum today and had a dessert of sticky toffee pudding (I NEVER eat desserts normally!)
Have given myself a severe talking to and now just need the rear end kick! :silenced:
Note to self: Must do better this week!

A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:
Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!!
Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!0 -

thanks Frog I certainly have acknowledged it, hiding these things is what got me here in the first place!
Re. your question, personally I avoid writing things down if I am ashamed. But I have written 'COOKIES' in massive letters in my SW diary and I will calculate the syns later so i know how to manage the rest of my week. Denial is a big part of it I suppose.
Also a lot of people dont write down things that they don't realise they are eating, if you know what I mean, like butter in a sandwich, oil in cooking, sugar and milk in tea, sauce on a bacon sarnie.... all the things that are second nature and you dont think twice about it!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

I hadn't thought about that individual items like that. I am calorie counting and realise that you can forget an ingredient - and though I do my best, I do sometimes forget exactly how much cheese I put in a sauce or that I don't always use 1 teap of butter, which is what I usually add.
I solved the butter issue today by eating toast without any - I would lose weight doing that - took me ages to eat dry toast! I cooked too much veg for dinner as well but ate it any way and realised how much that fills you up.Not Rachmaninov

Romy: So you just stand on it for 60 seconds and it makes you sweat?
Hahaha, if only it was that easy. You have to strike a few poses and there were loads of squats. My legs felt like jelly afterwards. When I woke up this morning to let the dog out, I swung my legs out of bed and nearly fell in a heap on the floor.
My legs/muscles and backside have been so sore all day, I can hardly walk. This has got to be good - right? It hurt so much I've already booked my next session. I feel like i've run a marathon and I didn't know my a$$ could ache so much.:rotfl:0 -
compromised and had frozen pizzas! Just polishing off the rest of the xmas bailays then will have day 1 again tomorrow.Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Todays plan...
noon: half tin beans on 2 slices soya&linseed toast
3: 240g chicken, salad, chutney,salad cream
6: fish, brocolli, veg, wholewheat pasta all blended together into a disgusting looking green soup
9: same as at 3pm
midnight: same as at 6pm
Totals: Cal=1650, Protein=230g, 5aday=8, dogwalking=1hr, stepups=420
ok so thats the plan, now will see how long during the day it actually gets stuck to!

Just take care not to get the clap. STIs are on the rise.Eurgh, toast without butter is like sex without an orgasm, Just not worth it!!!
Thats why it's often better to have toast with butter on your own. You can apply the butter however you like it then0
