I love it when ted comes over all helpful. Slightly verging on the peado stalker vibe :p
  • Hello everyone,

I'd like to join your merry throng please. I hope the other Want to be free who posted last year doesn't mind - I'm a different person.

I'm following WW and got to my target in 2005 and let it creep up again. I'm 10st 4.5 today. STS this week. My ultimate goal is 9st 2, as a 5 foot female (Just to avoid any confusion later!) I'd like to get back to a BMI of 25.

My new year's resolution is to walk at least 30 minutes a day unless I'm ill. (My Mum or OH designated as the responsible adults who can confirm I'm not just sciving and give me a pass for the day!)

My first goal is to get back to 9st 9 which was 10% of my starting weight and then 9stone 7, as that means I get free WW meetings again for the first time in over 5 years.

I am a comfort eater, and consume too many wine calories and drunken peanut or crisps and then hungover english breakfast ones the next day. I've been attending meetings but hoping that the weight would drop off without me eating the right things and sticking to it. Unfortunately it looks like that approach hasn't made much difference for the last 3 years so it's time to actually try sticking to my points and racking up lots of steps on my pedometer.

    Good night all.

welcome! well done for clarifying your gender straight up - wouldn't want vix offending you too!

I too have to get from '10 and a bit' to '9 and a bit', and have also found that thinking about dieting with a glass of wine in one hand and the bottle in the other just doesn't cut it!

Well done for going to the meetings though, that's one thing I can't manage. I am doing SW from home at the mo.

keep posting and hopefully we can help keep you on track! There's plenty of support and healthy competition too!

Might do my davina dvd tomorrow - feeling like it's time i moved my butt a bit more now that i'm back on the SW wagon.

    Hi Bee

Welcome! I wish I had the commitment to walking 30mins a day, I know it would be good for me but getting anywhere seems too much at the moment. I just wish the weather would pick up a bit as well.

I'm 5ft as well, I'd like to get to 9st, but under 10st is my first goal. Will you be joining the north versus south challenge? I think you can still join in if you wish.

Thanks for the welcomes on here!

I can claim unwavering commitment for the first 12 days of 2011! There's rather a lot of year left to go. It was an attempt to be more realistic about a resolution as they rarely last past Easter, sometimes not even all of the 1st of Jan!

So, would it be a mistake to say yes to puppies? I clicked on something that said Look kittens! on the bus once and they did something evil to my phone over bluetooth - bit of a nightmare to get over, so a bit worried about Pudding's puppies!.

Oh go on then. South for me please. I'm a Londoner, from Camden. Happy to affect being from the North if they need holding back instead.

Right, really ought to get some kip soon.

    Hi All,

Just logging in for the night, will have to catch up with reading tomorrow when I get a bit more free time.
Today's not been the healthiest of days. I have stayed within my calorie allowance, although It's mostly been lots of little snacks tiding me over. I can't be bothered to go downstairs to find my notes (too tired!) so will just try and remember what I ate today...

Breakfast - Go Ahead bar before school run, then HL ready meal after
Snack - Go ahead bar, then 2 banana flavoured rusks with milk.
Lunch/Dinner - chicken and cucumber wrap with sweet chilli sauce
Snack - frube, snack a jacks, dried cranberries with macadamia nuts.

It was a bit of a grab and run day today, although I'm at home for most of the day tomorrow so should have time to prepare proper meals, and add a bit more fruit/veg. No time for exercise today, and have been quite inactive as mostly driving and waiting around for people. It's probably why I'm so tired; usually I can't sleep until around 1am, but tonight I can't get there quick enough! At least I'll get a good night's sleep.

    See you all tomorrow.
