    Hi everyone,

Fred could you please put me in as 2lb off this week, unofficial only tho as went to WI this morning and the computer was down and I didn't have time to wait for it to be sorted.

    Thanks.
  • flying visit as very busy.
STS for me please fred. Quite happy with that as over indulged in turkey and dates this week ( had a 2nd xmas...), and totally delicious it was too.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • Hi,

I was wondering if I could please join the thread?

I've been eating healthily and going on the Wii Fit daily for the last 15 days since I found out that I was not only the heaviest I've ever been, but also over the BMI limit to being classified as overweight! I have so far gone down from 11st 4lbs to 10st 13lbs during this time. I'm a 25 year old female at 5"6. My BMI has reduced from 25.89 to 24.73 so far (decimal points approx). My target weight is 9st 11lbs, which according to the Wii is my perfect weight, and I'm fine with that :)

I don't follow a particular eating plan, just inspiration from various sources. I have kept a food diary since 03/01/11 and exercise log, and if it's alright I thought I would start by putting down my actions from yesterday:

    Exercise Log:

    Wii Fit - 41 mins, burning 136 kcal. Included 10 min boxing, 20 min yoga/muscle. Plank duration = 32 secs, Jackknife = 30 reps.

Normally I do around a hour with more cardio so usual calorie burn rate is 250-300, but as I had a chiropody treatment the day before, it was too painful to jog or balance on one foot.

    Food Diary:

Breakfast: 2 sunflower seed Ryvitas with spread and 1 laughing cow light cheese triangle, small coffee, probiotic yog (I get up at 5am for work and can't stomach porridge that early, so that's for weekends).

Lunch: Turkey salad with balsamic/mustard dressing

Dinner: Tuna steak, lemon couscous, veg medley. small handful of pomegranate seeds

Snacks: Tea (morning), slice malt loaf (afternoon), Mini choc Yazoo milk (post workout)

I hope to add to the Wii Fit exercise soon one of the 10 minute solution "Blast Off Belly Fat" routines each day and some light weights work.

A smaller goal is to cut out all fizzy drinks (success so far with exception of one mini pepsi can last thursday).

Also, just to round off, I take the following supplements daily: multivitamin & mineral, extra vitamin C, extra vitamin D, odourless garlic, co-enzyme q10, omega fish oils 3-6-9, ginseng & gurana, plus echinacea sometimes.

Thanks and good luck to everyone!

Hi Rablovesroo, welcome to the thread - youre obviously keeping a very precise track of your plan which is good (if youve got the patience to do that) and congratulations on your loss so far :-)

I'm intrigued what 32 seconds on the plank is all about?

Youre obviously eating a good balanced diet - so why do you need all those supplements?
Have you added up how many calories you are eating in a typical day? looking at your food list I would guess that its well below a thousand. Do you realise that if you dont eat enough calories that your body switches to stavation mode and that you will lose weight slower if ytou eat say 800 calories a day compared to if you eat 1200?

    Good luck

ha ha dont worry about it! You're not the only fella on here that vixarooni reckoned was a woman.
It just goes to show that it only takes a few free drinks in the pub and she cant even see straight!
    :p
hahaha, well i didnt know laurent was a man!! I bet you didn't either!! The name Lauren and the fact he has a clothes thing mentioned in his sig made me think it was a woman, there isnt much to go on!!

FRED: A sodding STS for me. Im so !!!!!!!g gutted, but i suppose eating out twice has hampered the loss.
