i think youve got a dodgy calculator there eric! i'd have to lose 3 stone in a week to achieve that. If im under 23stone by next week then i'll climb blackpool tower naked and post the pictures on here:D

ps. ive just been told that it will probably cost over a grand to fix my car, maybe more...theres nothing like some good news to brighten the day is there! :(

Welcome to all the newer newbies! Its a struggle but if you really really want to lose weight its not impossible (heck we're proof of that).

Please put me down for a 2lbs loss this week Fred - who I thought was a guy btw :D. Not a great loss but it all helps especially as I have been a model dieter this week (Mmmmm.. duck spring rolls ;))
DH bought me some legs for my wii fit board for Christmas so I'm hoping that I'll see some benefit from that as it will be a harder workout.

To give the newbies some idea about my "diet" (doing it with tesco ediets btw)

Brekkie - Big bowl of value cornflakes and 100ml of milk
Snack - 3 Mushrooms (I lurve raw mushrooms and @20 cals for 100g they make a great treat)
Lunch - 1 x ham and tomato sandwich (supposed to be + yoghurt but I dont have any)
    Snack - 2 x Celebrations chocolates (because I'm a rebel :D)
Dinner - 3 low fat sausages, half a tin of beans and about 200g of plain mash.
Extras - 2 cups of tea (1sugar) and copious amounts of caffeine free diet coke
    :A:A:A:A:A:A

Erm, Fred can you put me down for a start weight of 13st 12:mad: please, if you haven't done it already. Im starting from scratch and will post [STRIKE]any loss[/STRIKE] a definite loss next week.

Ive been really good again today on day 5.

Porridge for breakfast with a cup of tea.
Activia yoghurt and cup of tea for mid morning snack.
Sweet Chilli Salmon and Rice for tea and a cup of Coffee.

I'm not sure if I'll have anything else to eat today, but if I do fancy a snack, it will be very light:A as I'm planning another early night.

I need my beauty sleep - trust me!:rotfl:

    Hi all
Thanks for the welcome and good advice.
Fred, my starting weight is 175 Ibs and I would like to lose 28 of them!
I'm only 5'2" so I know I would probably still be at the top end of the scale for my height but I think anything less would be unrealistic for me to aim for. In fact I will be dead chuffed if I can manage to shift the two stone!!
I'm rubbish when it comes to following restrictive diets and I give up if I have to eat totally different meals to the rest of the family.
Today I walked the dog for an hour, came in and had a large bowl of Alpen mid morning. For dinner I've just had a chicken breast, 4 onion rings, couscous, salad and home made low fat coleslaw.
I won't have anything now other than a tea or coffee.
I've also taken two lots ( 4 in total) of the EAS Everlean pills I bought a while back from Approved foods!!....Has anyone here tried them?
I normally eat breakfast earlier, and would have a snack at lunchtime but after the christmas hols, I haven't got into the routine of early rising yet, hence the larger bowl of alpen!!
Do you think I will lose weight by eating these type of meals and cutting out the rubbish....or should I be following some type of set meal plan?
Must say I am really inspired by some of you guys. :T
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Well no surprises when i stepped on the scales this morning. A 5lb gain in the past month. Was so full of good intentions today too. Got to work and boss asked me to work til 8 tonight. So here I am, sat in my office, bored to tears and wanting desperately to raid the vending machine :rotfl:

As I had no idea I was working late today it was a quick dash to supermarket to grab something for lunch and dinner.

    Breakfast - Coffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Lunch - Pasta salad with bread roll + 1 activia yoghurt (puke)
Dinner - Steak Bake (I know, I know, but had to have something warm around this time!), might have another activia too cos they are so unappetising, but it may just stop me raiding the vending machine.

Coffee- About 5 cups throughout the day.

    Chocolate intake = A big fat 0
    Crisps Intake = A big fat 0
Lurpak Intake = A bit on my roll

Sat here at work almost sleeping. The wee man had toothache last night and all his moaning and groaning kept me awake most of the night. Then being stuck here for 11 hours isn't helping matters. Moany member again :rotfl:

Actually proud of myself for what I haven't eaten today, I know a steak bake isn't the healthiest of meals, but at such short notice it was the best I could think of.
    4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j
