    Good morning all.

I hope we are all well. It's nice to see some good weather down here for a change, long may it last.

A rather good weekend for me. I upgraded my phone (although it's a work phone I get to keep all the old ones) and sold my previous phone (iPhone 3) for £140 which was a nice little figure considering it had a nice crack down the front caused by a 4-year olds handywork.

Also, managed to referee 2 football games yesterday, I am really suffering from it today as a little stiff, but the £50 was more than satisfactory (no pain no gain and all that).

Well done on the phone sale! The extra cash from refereeing sounds good too!

Does sound good. How is your wife's job situation, has she had her interview yet? I can't remember when you said it was....

jwil - The refereeing is a nice little earner, but tiring all the same, especially doing two games in the same day. Unfortunately the season ends at the end of next month, so will mean nothing more until next August when the new season starts.

Kat - Her interview is tomorrow, and she will know officially by Thursday if she was successful, however, my mum will know before then so no doubt she will let slip as soon as she can.
  • Good luck for your wife, i will have my fingers crossed.

Just to update everyone, my wife had her interview this morning and was successful in her application.

She will start her new role from the start of next month - really good news here and will mean she will be working full time again, although it will only be 3-days a week, but long 12-hour days! Hopefully her increased income will mean we can shift alot of our debt alot quickly.

Might celebrate with a dominos pizza tonight as a treat! (Last of the big spenders this husband!)
