Hi JoeyGrey, thanks for reading.
Morning all - I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather, and not spending too much I hope.
It's pay day here, and I have already settled all debt minimum payments and bills for the next month (get me). I have a large sum of money left over already thanks to last months overtime being reinstated and also my refereeing paying my weekly spend.
I am confident that what currently sits in my account will still be there this time at the end of April so could pay a large chunk off one of my cards, but won't just yet incase there are some unexpected problems.
The only problem is that the football season ends in 6-weeks so the refereeing support will stop until the end of July when pre-season kicks off again. I will just have to work that little bit harder!
On a more positive note - my wife starts her new job this weekend!0 -

Hi No money
Haven't been on this site for weeks and am absolutely delighted to hear of your wife's new job. That is a great weight of your shoulders and a night sleep proves it.
Keep us all up to date with your future progress
God bless

Thanks for the reply ebayqueen.
A slight hitch with my wifes return to work, they are still awaiting her CRB to be returned, a little annoying, but nothing major. The thing is she needed one in her last job and that was only renewed 5-months ago, but they aren't allowed to let her start working off that one, even though it still has 7-months to run.
Nothing else really to report, things going along nicely money wise, and haven't spent a penny (other than bill payments) since pay day (8-days ago).0 -
Wow that's good going - how have you done it?!
That's a pain re: her CRB, why can't they accept the other one? Have they given an indication of how long it will be?Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. Her provisional start date has been put back to the beginning of May as apparently the CRB can take up to 4-weeks to come through. However, it is expected that it will come back sooner.
As for how have I managed no spending, I referee on a Sunday and get paid for it, so that money is what I use to see me through the month and this allows me to use all my wages for the things that matter most!0 -
Not too long then, at least it's not something you have to worry about and it's more of a formality.

Wife starts work tomorrow!
Apparently, whilst my mum was on holiday, the other ward manager got up to some naughty business and was suspended, so no new starters could start until my mum returned. She is now back and has given the wife the all clear to start tomorrow.
So, that was some good news over the weekend, and along with the nice weather which allowed plenty of family activity time without spending a penny there are no complaints from the No Money household! A lottery win this weekend would be very nice!0 -
Wishing your wife lots of luck tomorrow, i'm sure she will be fine.0
