The guttering scenario is on the back burner for the time being. It was my plan to get it sorted sooner rather than later. However, we received a couple of quotes this week and they wanted £4,500 for removal and replacement.
Given the debt situation we have deemed that this is more important and therefore wont be proceeding with the gutter removal at this time.0 -
Nice to 'see' you again No Money. Sounds like things are going well for you all. That's a huge guttering quote though "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi jwil.
Tell me about it, we knew it would be expensive, but wasn't quite expecting that. We quickly decided at that price there were more important things to get sorted beforehand.
Had a nice no spend weekend though, partly helped by the fact I had to work Saturday and it was too cold to take the children out yesterday. So still on target for the massive overpayment next week when I get paid.0
