I like it "rustic" too suggs, just depends on time whether I go for the refined look!! Havent tried poachig chicken - do you do this in a saucepan of water?

Found a single-solitary-lonely-mouthwatering-tempting-last in the box-Lindt chocolate whilst tidying up. The voices in my head made me eat it :rotfl: Oops.

Ps Meant to say ages ago Suggs, your signature could have been written for my 4 year old daughter. Its always very worrying when she smiles and lavishes you with hugs and kisses, Normally means she has been up to something!

Saucepan of simmering water, maybe a stock cube, and drop the diced chicken in for a few minutes, you may need to rinse the scummy bits off. Then transfer to the curry.

Isn't always the way that you know that the mischief smile is hiding something? ;)

Well dones to Rachel and Jules! Such good loses!

My weight hasn't really been shifting but i'm trying to soldier on and ignore the blips that i keep getting. I've had my food diary checked and it's all fine so I just have to keep going until my body does something. I want to try something new to shock the system (like last time when i gave up bread for a week) but I'm being so blummin good I don't know what to do!! It's all ok though.

I got weighed and measured at the gym (curves) last night and althought the scales only showed me having lost 2lbs in the last 6 weeks the measurements were much more pleasing! I've lost 2inches off my waist, 1 off my chest 1 off each thigh etc and if you add up all the inch losses it came to 8.5!.

Start measuring yourself (once a month maybe) if you don't already! Add it all up to give yourself a nice figure to knock about in your head.

Incidentally had a tiff with BF last night and ended up consuming many mini cheddars and prawn crackers in deference to it. Feel bad about it now especially as prawn crackers are essentially just fat (that's right isn't it?).

How many syns do you reckon for 15 or so chinese takeaway prawn crackers then:o? I'm going to try and find syn values for mini cheddars as well even though i want to hide away from SW for the day!

Don't worry Jen - we all have "Spite" eating times - boyfriends who'd have 'em? Last time I had a moody eatimng session I put on 3 lbs so don't worry about it!

hi :) haven't read the thread as it's to long, lol, but i'm trying to lose weight :) i'm on the negative calorie diet and have lost 9lbs in 3 and a half days :D its hell but i am fitting into clothes i couldn't before so its worth it, it's gonna be the maintaining it after the week is through that will kill me!

  • I lost 2 stone over 2 years with WW and it's slowly starting to creep on ...so i thought i'd rescue myself and rejoin before xmas and avoid 9hopefully0 the xmas bulge and weight gain. My prob is the same that a lot of folk have mentioned - i love to exercise but i double love to eat and eat and eat! I was really disciplined last year and trained myself to not enjoy chips etc but now!... GIVE ME CHIPS AND CHOCOLATE!

I also start a new job in 2 weeks and i'll be working far more hours so worry that i may not make it to the gym in time so... need to start NOW before i get big again.

Tips and suggestions welcome. also i like the ww diet but people seem to talk a lot about SW. is it good?
