Hi peeps I have had one hell of relapse so soon into my diet.
I went shopping y'day as i have an awards do to go to tomorrow and one of the fitting rooms had a 'Trinnny & Susannah' type mirror. i was horrified with what I saw
the day got worse when I relalised I was officially a size 16.
except in wallis where I was a 14 but they are well known for being 'pleasant' to their shoppers.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can kick start things.
Right now I feel like s**T!!Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

Lois thank you!!
Not sheltered... it's only that this brand didn't ring a bell - they don't sell it in Spain, and I haven't looked at them very much in the shops recently. And I find it difficult to remember unfamiliar brands unless I see them around a lot.
I do remember Cadbury's... and Galaxy...'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
Hey hey m4b, take it easy!
Stay away from bread for the next week and plan your diet. See what happens.'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
Happy birthday from me too, Delly!
Hi again folks - I have not been around for weeks now as we had to disconnect the computer whilst we had the ceiling above it stripped and replastered due to a leak, but I have just had a wee skim read through some of the last month's worth (if I read it all in detail I'd be here till xmas)
I rejoined RC 26/9/06 and weighed in at 15stone 5lb (exactly the weight I started at here so many months ago.....). Proceded to lose 6lbs in first two weeks then our consultant tells us she is giving up the franchise after having held it for 5 years and, so far, no-one has taken it over so we now have no RC classes in the whole city as she ran about 8-10 classes a week!!! Have since had a weeks holiday and have gained 2lb so am currently down about 4lbs on original weight!
Guess I'm back to going it alone as I resent the £ for other clubs who do not offer any exercise as well as advice. Really need to buckle down though. Had my body fat % measured about a month ago and was horrified that it came out at 46.3% which upt me in the 'Dangerously Obese' column. HELP!!!!
Does anyone know of any other clubs who offer exercise like RC? I really do do better when I know I am going to be weighed at the end of each 7 days.0 -
I'm hoping to get back on the SW diet (have to see my Dr tomorrow). Now that my thyroid medication is 'supposed' to be working I'm wondering why I'm still not losing weight.
Hoping Dr can tell me why.
So I've popped in here to try and catch up but am to tired at the moment to read back through the posts.
Can anyone please tell me if we can still access SW online from passwords that used to be posted on here? if so what's the latest?
After seeing Dr tomorrow, all being well, I'll be working my way back on to the diet again.

Morning All
Just a quick update before I head of the the lovely city of Bath I did my weigh in and I can't believe it but it said 11.7 that is 3LB's. I had nearly given up but it has finnaly paid off after standing still for so long. I think this will really spur me on now and make it easier to cut out the booze. Only 7 weeks to South Africa and that size 14 bikini. Katyk I don't belong to any clubs just the gym we used to have a weigh in at the office maybe you can get friends or work mates to join in it worked really well for me. Take care all and be good.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Just 2lb loss for me on my first week.
Me4Bargains don't worry about your relapse and don't beat yourself up. Today is a new day, so just get back onto eating healthily. I only started my diet last Monday and lost it again when I had family to stay - pub lunch and I didn't choose well. But it tasted really nice and I enjoyed it.
TallGirl well done with your 3lb loss.
Katyk The gym is a great place to exercise. All shapes and sizes there.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Hi All,
Can I come and join you? Have just got back from my doctor today and he has advised me to lose weight. Quite a lot of weight actually!! He has done me a referral to our local gym, where I get 2 one hour sessions with a trainer for free, then 20 sessions at half the usual gym's price. I have booked my first session for tomorrow at 1pm.
I have done the Weight Watchers diet in the past and although I am not going to go to the classes (no money!) think that I will follow that diet at home. My doctor weighed me and I have about 8st to lose, so it is going to be quite a task, but I really want to do it. I had porridge for breakfast today and have just had a tomato rissotto for my lunch, so doing ok so far, not sure what to have for tea yet, will see what I have in the cupboards.
So, hi to everyone and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Well done FLis21 on deciding to loose weight. This site is full of friendly and encouraging people. ALso we have our own diet experts who is great for helping out on points calories etc. I only have 7lb left to loose so know it is not hte same as you but I hope you will enjoy the gym, I tought I would hate it but it is really good fun. Make sure you get a good programme from the personal trainer and then see yourself improve. Take care and best of luck for tomorrow.Save £12k in 25 No 49
