You clearly weren't paying attention, they tell you both your account number and the sort code at the end of the application process! Mine is 90-78-68, I imagine everyone has the same sort code.
Well have to admit that I didn't take a note -'cos they always confirm it in an email and multiple follow up documents don't they.......NOT!
The only thing they confirmed in writing was my linked account details.
Not liking this lot already especially when it took 6 days (inc a weekend) to collect my £1 (I know BACS 3-4 working days - but haven't used it for a very long time) -£1 maybe all they get!0 -

very few Banks send details of your account number in an email.. I would be appalled if they did that0 -
I sent money from my online bank by BACS on Monday and it is there in my Online PO Saver today (Wed), which considering they don't do faster payments, seems fine. Obviously it will take longer when a weekend is involved.0

I asked for a BACS via the PO site, from my nominated bank account NatWest on Saturday still not there this morning. Did you do it via the outgoing site?0 -

No - I did the BACS from my bank (First Direct) on Monday. If you do a BACS on a Saturday, usually it is not sent until Monday anyway.0 -

Why? - your acc no and sort are on every cheque; everyone now includes them in invoices/payment requests (most of which are emailed)- so you can pay electronically -
--and I'm sure I've had email confs from most banks ( but could be wrong -I'd need to search back) - but I've deffo had written conf from every bank except this 1.0 -
Sorry to repeat my question but does anyone have an answer to post number 47. Thank you to anyone who knows the answer to this one.0
