severe virus please help

done the reset router, how do i change my passowrd for my router please?

hope you get it sorted soon, just for an update mine came back again and it was after using the pc rom my guess is that it has a virus but someone told me that if its an official rom it can't. can anyone tell me if it can or not?

Have you got a manual with the router? It should give an http address to log in. Usually the default username is admin and password is password.

If you post the make and model of your router someone might be able to help. Normally if you type 192.168.0.1 into your browser it will bring up the login page.

What make is the router? It will say on the the unit and will probably have a sticker on the bottom with it's model number.

tried putting the numbers into search bar didnt bring up a log in page, im using netgear wireless g router WGR614 v9
