IMHO you are driving along the kerb for quite some time, the angle of the car tilts and you can see the yellow line going under your cameraman,

you didnt check your mirrors before moving, you MAY have not indicated.

I dont think you will win this one,

Sorry OP, IMHO the driver in the video is responsible for the crash because they pulled straight into the path of a car that was passing.

The blue car isn't overtaking, it's passing a stationary car.

Because he was on his mobile phone and up on the kerb..... I stopped until I thought I knew his intentions.

I still think he was on his phone and parked up, but he drove off after the collision as most people do when they witness something like this.

Pedestrian crossing? So now im speeding? shut up fool..... I barely touched 20mph the whole time!! if i'd included the audio you'd have heard me short shift to second gear after pulling away and hold it there!

"I thought he was parked up......."
Who else said that in this accident?

    "Shut up fool" ???????
You sound like you could be a quite aggressive driver as well.

this one is simple you hit a moving car that was passing what they thought were parked cars,
you made a choice to pass the silver galaxy without checking your mirrors twice and failed to look over your shoulder to check your blind spot
simple you dont have a leg to stand on regardless of wether or not you thought the old bint should'nt of passed you you failed to check all areas of vision.

Nope, that's just what your painting me out to be and your futile attempts to bait me into being something im not are quite frankly tiresome.

I explain things quite clearly yet people STILL make statements that are not true.

Forgetting the junction and the queue for a minute here...

If your traveling down a street and are forced to stop for (lets just say) a bus, and just as the road clears on the other side you move off around the bus only to be hit from the side by the impatient driver that was 3 cars behind you.... I can only assume you think the car from the rear was perfectly innocent in overtaking all those cars and that you in overtaking the bus should have been expecting someone to overtake you at that same time.

Or your waiting at roadworks (lights) and as they change green the car behind overtakes you, trying to beat you past the lights and takes off your mirror, that's your fault too I assume?

I think people are missing the point here..... That car should not have been overtaking a queue of cars and overtaking is done at the risk of the driver.

OP, I assume by having the camera and your hesitancy to move past the parked silver car (counted about 8-9 seconds with nothing coming the other way) that you are a new driver? I think you should take on board the comments from more experienced drivers here and start to accept some liability.

Having said that the blue car did seem to be moving too quickly past you, especially if you were signaling from the outset

all your points are irrelevant as you moved without checking it was clear to do so.

Taking the other driver out of the equation completely, if a child had been attempting to cross the road in-front of you from your right they may have believed you had seen them and were allowing them to cross when in fact you didnt even bother to look as you believe you have right of way and have no need to follow common sense.

If i was a suspicious type i would think you had set that accident up deliberately, bit odd to have a passenger filming whlist your driving isnt it ?
