Not sure why people get so upset with people using the road as it was designed.
So how is this classed as good driving? You use your indicators to signal a direction you have no intention of taking?0 -

I didn't claim it was good driving..... It bends the highway code to the limit.....
"Stealth overtake" isn't strictly good driving either, BUT it IS less likely to provoke a dangerous reaction from an ego driven and competitive driver. Therefore while not "good", it will in many cases promote a safe and clear road ahead of you.
I can't speak for the whole country, though I do know some area's where the standard of driving is astonishingly good..... I would say that (in my local area at least) 70%+ of people would race across an island if they thought the car next to them was overtaking prior to a lane merge.
Of that 70% I think that less than 10% would race across if they thought the car next to them was heading right.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

In that case, isn't it somewhat hypocritical to be posting videos of what you consider bad driving when you acknowledge your driving isn't so good either?0 -
"The URL contained a malformed video ID."
Damn I wanna watch!0 -
Incidentally, what do you drive?0

If you drive aggressively I think you have to accept the things on some the videos are going to happen to you at some point, whether right or wrong.
With experience you realise that arriving at your destination a few minutes later and stress free is the way to go0 -

What you realise is that when the roads are busy most of the people you overtake pull off the road to do their normal business before you
Except the first person you overtook that pulls up behind you at a set of lights, if you can be bothered to look.
OP is probably a white escort van man:rotfl:
Actualy "stealth overtaking" sums it up.
When I overtake I want the drivers to know I am there before taking the risk.0 -

And I bet they floor it when you do.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Strider, you obviously care about your driving. If you haven't already, can I recommend you take the IAM or ROSPA advanced driving course, it's a real eye-opener and I certainly leant a lot about defensive driving.0

I bet its a BMW, Impretza or something similar. I'm rather concerned as I recognise the roads in those video's their near me!I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling
