I only received this message today, I'm not happy with being charged never mind the sort notice of 3 days!!
It's been well documented though. The date it came into effect was a day or two before iphone4 came out. The intention was that all contracts renewed from that date, would lose allowance MMS/international texts from October.
I renewed my contract in May SPECIFICALLY to stay on the old tariff as it had allowance MMS/international SMS benefit.
I have not had the text.0 -

I currently get MMS for £0.00 (4 inclusive texts), so that is still an increase for me.
I signed up last October to 1200 mins, 500 texts and U/L internet, with 4 for 1 texts on MMS and roaming texts.
I send quite a few MMS and if they charge me from 25th October for MMS I will be straight on the phone for a PAC code.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -

I took my contract out in feb so I'm on the old tariff. I signed a contract when mms was free so you can see why I'm not happy with the charges or short notice. The best things in life are for FREE!!!If you like what you see and find this info useful, please use the thanks button. It costs nothing and means so much.0 -
MMS is a dead horse now, if you have data in your contract then just use email instead it is much much better (esp if you use a smartphone like iphone, android, or blackberry)0

There are pro's and cons to both systems, not all users frequent their email box but all have a phone number and mms is instant but does limit the picture size.0 -
I'm on the old tariff , got the contract on halloween last year and got the txt last night. I had a bolt on for a month recently though0

Lucky you
have u had a bolt on put off/on recently? Might be why I got it and you didn't
Always had the web bolt on from day 1, use often near 1gb data per month, only to people I know got a text about heavy data use, 1 had used 11gb , the other was downloading dvds so that was not surprising0 -
Are the people who got the text on an iphone tariff?0
