o2 now charging me for MMS, when they used to be in my text bundle
Hi
Just got a text from o2 saying they are now going to charge me 25p per MMS I send, Im on a contract that has always taken 4 texts from my bundle per MMS sent, so they have always been "free" as long as I have not used all my text allowance.
Can they do this?
They have given me 1 weeks notice. I presume I can claim breach of contract and terminate early?
Anyone else got this text?
Regards
Rich

A friend of mine got this yesterday - she's waiting on o2 calling her back to see why this has been changed. If you get any info I'm sure she's be interested to hear it too.0

ive just gotten this text from o2 too. im not happy, i already pay 35 per month and now they want to charge for each mms message. this wasnt mentioned before when i got the phone!
also, i had a text on monday saying i have exceeded the 500mb allowance this month. before i upgraded to the iphone 4 i checked how much data i use and it was averaging around 260kb per month. wheres this extra use come from?!
does the iphone 4 suck up more data? if so i dont want it anymore as these costs are going to make it more expensive than 35 per month.0 -
Just got this too.
Interested in the answers as I'm not happy, I send a lot of SMS and did make a point of telling them that when I renewed my contract.
How much notice are they meant to give you before changing your contract?Sigless0 -

Erm upgrading classes as a new contract
, so it kinda makes sense as that was released late June. It has been well documented about contracts after june 2010
