,Do you know of anyone who has had their claims upheld with Lloyds after the court ruling was announced?
Thanks
Hi, I posted on this thread earlier. In a nutshell I submitted 2 claims on 28th September i.e. just before the judicial review was announved. Finally on 31st Dec LLoyds offered an ex gratia settlement to put me in the same position I would have been in had PPI not been added to the loan, plus 8% interest.
I've sent the acceptance slips off and am told by my case handler at LLoyds that payment will be made within 21 days.0 -
Hi All
Ok, really confused!
I'm 4weeks over the 8weeks, I received a letter off Lloyds basically not come to a decision but still looking into claims. Can't give me a timescale. That bit I get. Ok, so I ring to speak to someone, she told me on the phone that I have 2 give them another 8weeks even after the first set of 8weeks, even tho the letter said no timescale. I says that to her, she replies with we do that with everyone. I've not heard this before! Then she starts rambling on bout JR, which surprise surprise I get a letter 2days explaining all bout JR. Is it me or do they wait to you ring and then just send you a letter with whatever their have said on the phone?
Hopefully they sort themselves out and give people their money bk who they have basically conned. I seem to get the non helpful people at the bank.
Sorry for rambling on, would appreciate any help.

In a nutshell I submitted 2 claims 28th September and made a real nuisance of myself calling almost daily after the 8 weeks expired. My case was then assigned a case handler whose name I was given and who returned my calls whenever I rang. On 31st December LTSB sent me a letter offering an ex gratia settlement to repay PPI premiums plus 8% interest. I've spoken to Customer Care at LTSB since then and am told that cases dealt with by my specific case handler are dealt with more quickly.
Bottom line it seems to me is that squeaky wheels get the most attention....keep calling and emailing (cc to Eric Daniels CEO) and you may find that your case is assigned to a specific handler who from what I can make out are basically assigned to fast track those complaints where the complainant has made a pain of themselves.
Hope the advice helps....good luck!0 -
Thanks for that, I'm going to try that also I don't know if it's allowed but can you give me the email address for the claims dept and Eric Daniels.
People shud pay you and Di for your time and help. You are a great help.

It's ok, I did a little search on Internet and it came up straight away. Mr CEO is going to have a nice little email tomorrow. :T0
