I, after loads of phone calls and being shunted around for 45 minutes last night, finally found out that my refund had been worked out and a letter was in the post (which I got today) telling me how much I was getting back, the nice man on the phone told me exactly to the penny - bless him
I am getting back...............wait for it.......................................
£11,330.57
I was almost in tears as I had no idea it would that large an amount!!! Most of it is to be paid in this weekend and the rest after they have reworked my existing loan.....I am so happy and would like to say a big THANK YOU to you all for your support on here.

Hi, Is this LTSB?? I'm currently claiming against them and am being told that claims on hold. When did you submit your claim and receive your Acceptance Slip please?0 -
Thanks for the help di3004.
Just giving you an update, I rang the lloyds tsb today to put the claim in motion, I was actually on the phone no more than 5mins to be told my claim had been put forward and that not all claims are on hold due to the court ruling only certain cases (which I assume the cases they really don't want to pay out on, but are being made to). I was also today that lloyds have to contact me no later than 2weeks from the day of the claim. Is this a normal time scale or is it varying depending on your case and the reason the ppi was sold at? Would really appreciate it, if someone could let me know if they have had the same response.
Hi everyone
I received a letter off lloyds within the 2 weeks that they stated, they expressed how sorry they were, and that they r working on my claim also explaining the reason for my claim and for me to ring them if they have not fully understood It to what the letter says. What I would like to know is this the norm and does everybody get that letter and do I still av to give them the full 8 weeks which will take me up to 17th December.
Would really appreciate the advice.

Hi there
And yes this is normally standard of Lloyds TSB, and once the 8 weeks have passed and they've not come to a decision by then, your entitled to make the complaint to the FOS.
Good luck with this.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Am a bit unsure but i think this loan was taken out in 2002 but we fell behind with payments got into a bit of trouble but they still paid out in the end with interest. goodluck to you and hope you get it right....now i need to work on Welcome Finance oh my!!!!0 -
Thought this was quite amusing - had a letter from Lloyds on Saturday morning offering me a credit card with a £1000 limit. Trying to make some of their money back by offering to lend me more perhaps??
My name is Matt, I'm a guy, so if you're a guy please don't try and flirt with me via pm!!!!!!!They can't have what you haven't got can they? tell them that and if they say otherwise pretend to be an owl or something.0 -

Hi everyone, just an update re ongoing LTSB claim. The 8 weeks is up tomorrow and I rang them late this afternoon in the vain hope they would have something meaningful to tell me.:(
The agent in customer care tells me that there is now a new team dealing with my claim and I was given a name of my case handler. I am told (not sure whether I believe it tho as have been given so much misinformation by LLoyds in the last 8 weeks)that this team were due to get their own telephone lines today but should get them this week. The Agent took my number and said my case handler would call me back tomorrow. Will update thread at close of business tomorrow!!0 -

Thanks - not holding out too much hope. I'm now at the stage where I find it all quite amusing otherwise I think I'd go completely mad with the lies they've been telling me for the past 8 weeks.. They are a complete shambles, its a bit like prodding a sleeping animal - they roar and then go back to their slumber! Either that or they tell you what they think you want to hear and hope it get you off their back for a few days!0
