Lloyds PPI Refund

Hi All
Has anyone got any experience of reclaiming with Lloyds? I have done so, referred my case to the FOS etc etc, and its all been agreed. I sent my letter back to the FOS and phoned Lloyds a few weeks ago to make sure they have received confirmation of the refund, which they have. Im now just waiting for the money.
The say it could take up to 8 weeks to calculate the refund and pay out, but my question to anyone who has reclaimed previously is, how long did it take once being agreed, to get the money? Did they string it out for the full 8 weeks, or did it come through earlier?

Very true! I called at least twice a week for the first one after it went over the 8 week mark... you never know though you could be one of the lucky few!

honey look on the thread i started lloyds have agreed, but after hearing they're no longer paying anything, i phoned them, and now it seems if you got your acceptance in before 8th oct, you'll get it, if not you've dipped, like me !!!!

With my ppi lloyds refunds it varied, the first 2 were refunded 22 working days after they received my acceptances and the others taken a little longer, think almost 2 months.
Keep in touch with them by email as well, with it being an earlier resolved case they should pay this out soon......

Congratulations on your win.
I dont know if any one can give me advice for my friend l am currently been helping him claim his PPI from Lloyds and he sent letter and questionnaires back only to be told he was sold PPI from Lloyds but on behalf of Elsis Ltd and his claim had been forwarded to Lloyds in Perterlee, County Durham. Fortunately he had his last loan agreement which was applied for over the phone and completed by Lloyds and he just signed. He did not even realise he had PPI and would not been any good to him as he is and always been self employed. To cut a long story short after weeks he got a letter back from Lloyds in Peterlee, County Durham stating they had upheld his complaint and would be refunding all PPI with standard redress, just complete acceptance and send back. He did this still not knowing total of refund and this was in September and still no refund given. He emailed them last week as no contact number for Peterlee, only to be told to call Customer Relations in Newport and they have stated dont know anything about refund and as far as they are concerned no PPI on account which is not right and he has a letter confirming refund. Can anyone advise what he can do.0
