Good luck with the interview MDW :)

My parents are coming over next week, my mother was just telling me that she's not able to bring anything because there's a giant bag of wrapped presents that I left in the loft that she needs to bring for me. I had to explain that those are actually all presents for THEM and simply need to be carefully placed under the tree :rotfl:

r.mac I think you're lovely (you're collecting sig compliments today :rotfl:) and agree with you that printed words are sometimes easy to misunderstand. I try hard not to offend people, sometimes I manage it anyway and I'm sorry if I do. But sometimes I also get hurt or offended by things that people write. For the most part I think it is a sign that we are all human and we react to stuff in different ways. Which is ok.

  • Gill - sorry, another thought. Could it just be the concentration of dairy is a lot less in the baby jars? ie: Heinz Mum's own yoghurt lists the ingredients as only 25% yoghurt and C&G cauliflower cheese has only 8% cheese.

Rmac - I forgot earlier, make sure you take your delivery note, and I think it is only worth as much as it comes up on the tills IYSWIM.
    and Happy Anniversary!

SS - Thanks for the well wishes. I feel better, but I could do with L getting better just so I can get come sleep. He is waking up in the night and usually only settling once in with me, and then he has to be as close as possible, which is usually lay on my face or across my neck.

Facebook- I like how all the replies are grouped together, so it easy to read a topic at a time, but my computer/firefox really doesn't like the mega long threads. I also can't find something once I've read it and I can easily miss bits when it jumps the posts about :(

ETA: Fingers crossed the interview goes well tomorrow MDW and I hope Katie begins to feel better soon!

Becles - I agree with your point that its a shame this thread is so quiet at the moment.

PS Its my 3rd wedding anniversary today :D

    Happy Anniversary Rmac....

    Hope alls going well SusanC

Agree as well its a shame its so quiet (but easier to catch up). I also cant post comments in FB group so feel as if people may think I'm ignoring them all...very annoying

Am annoyed at my sister too, suggested a pressie for ny nephew Vtech computer which was on offer at £18.74 in Argos..its taken her a week to respond and now its gone up to £24.99...still cheap but not as :money:as before

Sorry, I just can't get back into the PT spirit. And I don't want to post too much on here where any old person can read.

Also, my effing broken effing toe is killing me, I have cramps (also problematic because I CBA to sterilise my mooncup), I feel weird and as if I am a half-second off from the world and my baby is waking up so I am going to have to feel better so she and I can hang out and have fun. Oh, and she damaged the special Christmas ornament I bought her yesterday :(

gill - no. To add the points I have to go instore and put my advantage card into the machine to collect them.

Make sure you do that first then ;)

Ethel's Mum - are you my friend on fb? I think you are. If so what are your initials and I'll add you

NMS - thanks for that, I need to keep better track of what he eats when I get my referral through in order to answer those questions properly. I'll definitely get some ready brek tomorrow, did you make it up with water?

Sugar - OMG I'm sorry lol. Why is it you we keep doing it to???? That's very spooky! Are you sure you've not been on the vodka?

Aless - proper yoghurt from the fridge (petit filous) caused a reaction but baby food yoghurt (from a jar on supermarket shelf) didn;t. I'm confused as to why one yoghurt would be ok and one wouldnt but am wondering if it's to do with something in the process of making the babyfood one that is causing whatever he is allergic too to be eliminated. I wondered if anyone cleverer than me understoond a bit more about it.

I am definitely complaining about my NHS trust complaints department once I get my complaint fully resolved. I was in two minds but my hard copy of the complaint reply came in the post today. The one about which they said the following on Friday 3rd December:
I can confirm that a letter, dated 29th November, was posted to you earlier this week. Due to the current weather conditions, I am unsure if you have been receiving mail regularly?
Well unless "posted to you earlier this week" means "I've just put it through the office franking machine today" then that's a barefaced lie.

Oh dear. I can't keep track of what spin they've fed you...it's not possible they did actually post it then? :(
