Oh I feel like ive created drama now for no good reason....

Its nothing major really, it was a statement really but i cant be bothered dealing with the fall out..... so ill just stay in my bubble... :rotfl:

How have you been doing anyway? If you wanna share?

ooooh say it CAFC.....you've got us all on tenterhooks

:rotfl:at Susan taking something to make her feel more sick

SUGARSPUN - want to share you ghosts/hallucinations?

Mel - yay for helpful hubby!

We were supposed to visit my little sis today but Dad decided the weather was too bad :( But DH managed to get a last minute holiday so parents are coming here and DH and I are going to the cinema and out for a tea :j:j:j

Why is it whenever DH is hope my little man refuses to nap in his cot despite going down at 10am ish every day for me?! To be fair I think he's teething today. Poor Sophie is in danger of actually having her head chewed off and he's been crying when I;ve been feeding him. He doesn't normally have a mid morning feed but I've resorted to it and it's done the trick and he's now sleeping peacefully :D

Can you clever ladies (and man) shed any light on this for me....I've mentioned before that I'm pretty sure that T's eczema is linked to cows milk since being weaned. I've gradually been introducing things. Cheese at lunch caused a big red flare up all over his chest by evening, the following week I gave him yogurt from a babyfood jar which was fine (a very slight possibly flare up 2 days later?) and then on Sunday I gave him a teeny petit filous and by evening he had a very angry red chest. Soooooo...I have deduced that for whatever reason baby food yoghurt is ok. Can anyone shed any light on why this would be? I'm pretty sure he was ok with baby food cauliflower cheese too (also a jar) while porridge that you add water to was a nono. (they haven't been done in a controlled way tho)

I wish my dietician referral would hurry up....I'm really worried that he's not getting enough dairy and am totally guessing!

Meant to take baby to be weighed at the clinic today but I really can't be bothered to go out in the cold again and its parents evening tonight which I really am not looking forward to.
I wouldn't go for the weighing unless you feel it's really important. Do you not get a HV visit at one month? I didn't get mine because HV was off sick that week but was meant to and she would have done a weighing.

I used to have more trouble on days when OH was at home. I presume it's just the change of routine that disturbs them.

LOs aunt asked for list of ideas for christmas/birthday presents. This is on it. I wish I knew if someone has bought it for her - if not I would buy one. Would Amazon let me return/refund early Feb if I did buy it then she got one as a present?!!!! semi-real question

I'm here. Bit of a bad morning for me but I have a cup of tea, a sleeping baby and a nice husband - two of them are within reach, which is nice.

However, I am either hallucinating or seeing ghosts. Neither one of those appeals overmuch.

Good news though, Husband got a promotion at work and now has a very cool job involving only the kind of stuff he loves and is very good at instead of his old job, which was a bit of that and a lot of stuff he didn't like but was very good at.

Still have a list of stuff to do but I am feeling sort of weird and fragile in my body so I am going to take it a bit easy.

:eek::eek: I'd say eat something, drink something and sleep. if still feel like this then MOVE!:rotfl:

CAFC - you okay? statements are okay - even if they are contentious. Unless of course you are going to say you don't like r.mac and mini r.mac  Then I'd have to 'make a statement' right back :p :rotfl:

Becles - I agree with your point that its a shame this thread is so quiet at the moment.

Well. I've been up since 5 today - eek! LO back in bed for lunchtime nap. I made her hold out as long as possible. Now I'm looking forward to some cheese on toast for lunch.

I'm all out of ideas for entertaining madam. So this afternoon I'm making mince pies and thought about copying EA and making some salt dough to cut out some christmas decorations and perhaps a hand and foot print. BUT that means tackling the midden otherwise known as the kitchen. I clean it about 5 times a day - but its still needs cleaning. *sigh*

right - starving so off to make lunch.

PS Its my 3rd wedding anniversary today :D

She is coming at the end of the month but asked me to get him weighed in between which is basically today at the local clinic but I find the clinic times a bit inconvenient. Its 2pm till 3:30pm but I have school pick up at 3pm and baby normally feeds between 2-2:30 so he isn't hungry on the school run.

    can you elaborate:
    1. because its quiet?
    2. because its a public forum?
    3. because you still feel unesay after recent experiences?
    4. because you think someone you know is on here?
    5. you don't like it anymore?
    6. because r.mac's 5 other suggestions aren't right :p

ETA: or is it the cliquey thing again - if so someone said how I feel about it really well so I may go dig it out....

  • Gill - anything specific I can help with until your get your referal?

Liam usually reacts within a couple of hours - but the dietician told me it can take upto 24hrs for a reaction to show. There could also be other factors, teething, temperature, changes in the air -hot/cold, having the heating on more.
