Lovely Baby L! Glad you got your cakes baked CAFC. I'm tempted to just make cake pops out of my big one because I CBA trying to Macguyver it back together with jam and marzipan and I also have a little one that I can ice all pretty for us.

I have errands to do but just want to take a bath and then hide under the covers forever. I also meant to wash the sheets because I was having fever dreams last night so they might not be terribly fresh but just sat still all day instead :o

can you ask hbby to wash them for you?

I stripped our bed yesterday as i think im getting a cold, but i somehow forgot to then re make the bed so when i went upstairs all ready to tuck myself in, had to make ruddy bed

My cakes smell lush, they are gingerbread fairy sponges.... am in two mind whether or not to ice them......

my house smells of ginger and cinnamon now..... *dribbles*

I miss our old PT thread too.

    Yay for DH's promotion SS.

Redstar, I really feel sorry for you having to pack up the house by yourself, what a nightmare. Moving is a PITA. And i categorically state that I will never move again after 3 moves in 3 years, before moving into current home of 3 years.

I hope Finns Anti-b's are kicking in Aless.

I have Upper Respiratory Tract (Chest) Infection and am feeling slightly better than yesterday after only 2 anti-biotics taken. OH is at home sick and I am in work :(.

Although he did provide the childcare for poorley Alex on Monday and Tuesday. It has taken Alex about 12 days to become anywhere near normal after his bout of cold/snot/grott/cough. His child minder has missed him and his cuddles greatly.

It's my big boy Joe's Birthday on Friday. We had promised bowling with 3 or 4 school friends on Saturday. But I really don't think we will both feel up to it. I am hoping I can persuade him to go for a more lazy option of cinema to watch Harry Potter with his best friend, along with Pizza Hut or Frankie & Bennys, plus maybe a sleepover for said best mate.

    CAFC,

I have two episodes of Phil and Kirsty to watch, having recorded them after seeing your updates on FB. Was it any good?

Oooo yes! Even DH liked it (!!) and wants to watch tonight, so it MUST be pretty good. :D I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't all overpriced junk, but actually interesting things.

I've been meaning to wash our sheets for like 2 weeks now (don't ask how long they've been there *hides* :o) but I always forget and HATE making the bed.

    CAFC,

First one was better than the 2nd in my opinion, but i suppose it depends what you're into....

I like Phils visit things he's doing..... even if one of thm did make me send hubby to shop for chocolate

From my pov the first one had more crafty based ideas.... but ive still enjoyed them, am really looking forward to tonights... its xmas dinner tonight!!!!

Agree with Aless - although its not particularly cheap some of the things theyve done, its not totally unaccessible either

And im so sorry to hear you're so ill, well done on making it into work....
    Wishing you speedy healing vibes

Unlikely as it'll be past bedtime by the time they're done :o

I'm always forgetting to remake the bed after washing the sheets, so annoying as I notice when I'm putting Wee Beastie to bed and have to either interrupt bedtime or do it quietly once she's asleep.

    Your cakes sound awesome. nomnomnom.

Can't find Phil & Kirsty to download :(

Hope you feel better soon WM :)

Edit: I have just posted a FB link to something I REALLY REALLY want for Christmas, if someone were to innocently comment on it to say that they'd make a fantastic Christmas gift ... hinthint I would appreciate it ;)

It's actually in Birmingham Jillie... In the suburb of Bournville, the town that was built around the factory to house the Cadbury workers... It's ever such a pretty place...

We love Cadbury world, but we like to go in the summer so we can take advantage of the Mahoosive climbing frame out back...

Why is it, you can spend the whole day with no phonecalls and then get 2 while you're alseep?!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
