Meeting at 11 at Monkey Bizness. Weirdly, a friend of mine FBd me last night saying she's still living in Edinburgh and did we want to meet for dinner on Tuesday night? I replied and said we were going to soft play during the day but would be free for dinner and she said, if it's called Monkey Bizness it's on my road!! Strange coincidences abound.

I think Susan and Alice are arriving at the station at 10.20, so it might be good if I met her there and we could find our way together? (Only if Susan wants to ;))

Haymarket is the closest station to get off at. :D

Does anyone have a link to circumstances where a planned C-section is better than a VBAC?

SS- I was starting to wonder...... ;)

I was told that induction wouldn't be an option due to my previous c-section, particularly if the pgs were close together. I also believe that the reason for the section dictates how likely it is that you'll be more or less successful with a VBAC. For example, every baby is different, so if baby was the problem, then its not neessarily going to happen to bbay number 2, but if it was the mother that had problems (or both baby and mother) then its more likely that she would hve another section.

That probably doesn't help - but there you are anyway :P

  • Oh Beccles what a nightmare. I'm glad it isn't broken though. Poor boy, how did he manage it?

    Ta Andrea :)

We've had a random unexpected early morning - 5:30 is too early for me :( Izzy is happily watching telletubbies anyway, so I get a rest for a few mins. She has been wanting me to read lots of books to her, which is lovely that she will sit and listen to them at last, but not so good with a sore throat and a voice that is threatening being lost. And it isn't as if I will be on the phone all day at work or anything either. Fun fun!

Woke up at 5.40, but also 11.30, 1, 2, 3.15, 4, .... and some of us then go and work, instead of sitting around enjoying the luxurious, pampered life of the SAHM :p as Aless will soon discover :o

Oh Beccles what a nightmare. I'm glad it isn't broken though. Poor boy, how did he manage it?

He was carrying on having a fun fight with another lad when they were waiting to go into chemistry. He injured that finger a few years back and it's always been a bit weak, and the other lad just caught it at the wrong angle. The other lad feels really awful about it as he never meant to hurt him.

Hope your throat feels better soon xx

Off to work this morning with loads to do. Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....

    Good luck Aless xxx

R.mac, my new concern is that the hospital won't have written, "We roostered up the epidural and caused an EMCS," in my notes, so I might have to argue for a VBAC.

Thanks Andrea, if only we could edit the posts in locked threads to remove the links - although should anyone want to get around this conundrum they could alter the privacy settings on their FB pages.
