Oooh Sleepless In Seatle is on. Bah it's an hour in, but i'll still watch. It's a little bit christmassy and I will considerate my first xmas film of tge season.

CAFC loving the blog ideas. Tonights plans for lonesome me, when kids are in bed is Xfactor and the making of 30 Snowmen Soup for Joe to take to school for his classmates on his birthday. I've forgotten to buy the peppermint candy canes, so will have to add those later. :o

have just written a massive reply and lost it, poxy net connection....

i was going to trial xmas recipes weekly/monthly and with the feedback put together our christmas meal planner... as its kinda all about making my version of the perfect xmas, so me suggesting prawn cocktail wouldnt work as its not something i'd eat if that makes sense...

    like the bargain gifts idea....

After ive done the one off recipe trials im then gonna do some time trials and within that what i can freeze ahead etc....

I kinda wanted to do some suggestions for the sort of 2 weeks of xmas, rather than being solely focused on just xmas day.....

    baby led weaning
whats an ideal first food then? we tried landen on some baby porridge for about 3days now and he's not particularly bothered... i was thinking i'd now hold off for a while... and try again in a week....

This is why I like you people xx

CAFC - I have just realised something spooky...T and L were born exactly a week apart, both weighed exactly the same and are both rubbish at taking dummies, and fight daytime naps!! Hmmmm, very strange!!!

If you got one of the £5 vouchers last month (for spending over £50) don't forget to use it :) I just used my November one today on a booster sear with a tray, making it a bargainous £6 :)

Forgot to add, I got MIL christmas present! SIL pointed out a nativity scene candle thing (its not a candle, it looks like a candle but uses batteries) that MIL had ben drooling over. Ofcourse MIL is the type who woudl have went back and bought it for herself so I'll take the risk. But I think we will give it to her early so she can enjoy it before Christmas. Need to get her a little thing to open on teh day now.
