We don't really watch it, just sometimes it ends up on while D puts the girls to bed... But I thought the one was close to the end and the other was the same as me...

Also, it'd never work... You'd know the difference straight away wouldn't you...
EA said that last bit too, my response is, this is soap not RL :p

Maybe that was it! Well done Ben on getting MOTM! Hey, how is wm's Joe doing at the academy? - or am I completely off here?

No Aless your memory is working well. Joes is doing fantastically well at Man United youth academy. He's learning a lot and is run ragged, comes home every friday night bright red and pumping in sweat. He seems to be less intimidated now and loves it.

No MOTM trophies here though! Well done Ben!

Have been to the Range, spent a fortune on card and crafty bits and spent the afternoon making xmas cards with Joe, while Alex destroyed the living room. Joe now playing out and Alex in the bath. One phonecall received from OH. But no more will be answered, he'll be far to drunk for me to tolerate him.

Yay fir GISI for your breastfeeding acheivement.

Mel - He does but is a bit sporadic with when he wants it....sometimes he takes it and falls asleep on it but when it falls out he stays asleep, other times he's just really not interested, which is good in a way because hes not reliant on it but at the same time sometimes its nice to have something that consistently works

Susan - Had a 'mare with DH on tues. He's ordered something which is being delivered between 9am and 6pm (GREAT!) so if it comes before 12, i'm still good to meet but if not, im afraid, gna have to cancel. PM me and we can be naughty :)

I've almost come to the end of my super blog planning... i need some festive fiends to suggest what they'd like to see included though... so far its mainly recipe testing, decoration ideas, weird and wonderful ways of having an xmas tree when you're hubby wont let you, decorations to make, gifts to make, favorite films to watch, christmas playlists, and some ideas to help charities out.... anything else you'd like to see?

    xx

I really hope the ditch that idea, it's horrid. And I don't see that anything can possibly be gained by potraying SIDS in that way. I may even email a note of my disgust.

Happy news, I went to our local Dobbies garden centre with BIL and SIL and the kids. Ended up getting my parents some fancy oil and vinegar. You buy the bottle (1.99) then fill it with the oil of yoru choice which works out about £2 a bottle. Paid and I've noticed now that they haven't charged for the bottles. Bit naughty but it means I can get them another bottle. Also got them some posh crackers and will get them some fancy cheeses or pasta or something.

And they have real chocolate mice for 59p each! So guess what the kids are getting as stocking fillers? How sweet!

    Put-together menu suggestions?

Timelines for getting it all ready on time?

    Special dietary requirements?

    Make-ahead foods?

    Bargain gifts?

    Hamper suggestions?

    Snowman soup/reindeer poop etc?

Suggestions for advent calendars? (I'm planning when Miss M's older to have a series of activities on little rolls of paper so she can pull one out every day)

    Christmas traditions in other countries?

And this is why we're partners in festive crime ;)

aww wm, I'm so pleased Joe is really enjoying himself. Just wait until he's the next Rooney and you're sat in your mansion. :D

weaning - I can't recommend BLW (or whatever you want to call it! 'finger foods') enough! We never did a single puree, besides a couple of freebie fruit pots, and Finn loves eating. It's a million times more useful, for instance when I went out to lunch last week (just him & me), it was no fuss just ordering an extra portion of veg and giving him loads of food off my plate. :D You can honestly give them anything - he's having chili con carne tonight. Also, we started at 6 months as there was never any need to start sooner and that way he was proper able to sit in his highchair and grab food well.
