Well done on MOTM!
Re: sleeping thru, T kinda has since he was 5 weeks. We have odd nights where he will want one feed about 3/4ish but only has been when he had the milk allergy or when he has gone to bed bit earlier. He tends to go to bed 9-9.30pm until 8am which suits me. I'm hoping he will keep to it but you never know.
Must go tidy the house!0 -

How did you guys know when your baby was ready to be weaned? Sophie's been showing a lot of the signs they say to look out for, so I tried her on a tiny bit of puree, which she really was not impressed with. I'm not bothered as such, as she's only 19 weeks. I'm still leaning more towards BLW, but totally clueless (as with parenting in general, I confess) Is it just a case of trying every so often, as she's developing so rapidly, that she might be capable in say 2 weeks, but not ready today iykwim.
They can take a few tries before liking something. I tried T with some porridge and she wasn't keen the first time, gave it again the next day and she ate it really well....now she gobbles it down.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I just finished the one where she's had the baby, i cried.
Might buy it soonish.
Well done on a year BFing GISI!
And well done on Bens MOTM!
Lily is trying to sleep but she wants to sleep holding my hand and to do that i have to lean over DH awkwardly. I tried giving her a T-shirt to hold but she threw it :rotfl:
Hopefully i will be painting the living room today, im looking forward to it finally being nice!0 -
You always feel great when you're finished with it, lovely.
I went and I feel great. It was a lovely morning with clear blue sky and lots of sunshine :cool:This is a stupid question (and prolly a bit late now that I'm going back to work next week), but is too weird to just turn up to soft play on your own? I always thought it was a place you go to meet with other people.
I've been on my own before. When I just had the boys, one of the mystery shopping companies used to do the soft play areas in pubs. The reimbursement covered play, a coffee for me and juice for the boys, and I got paid to sit and read my book while they ran around like idiots for an hour. Brilliant jobEating dinner alone bothers me a bit, if there's no alternative I tend to get fast food or takeaway to my hotel.
I'm not keen on that. I do some department store restaurants for mystery shopping, but everyone is in groups and I look like billy no mates on my own
Had to pop out to Homebase for something and ended up spending ages in there as Charlotte wanted to admire all the Christmas trees and decorations. All the Christmas stuff is half price, if anyone needs anything :money:Here I go again on my own....0 -
Hi everyone, hope you're all having good mornings? :j:jFisherprice kids digital camera is a good price on HUKD atm if anyone's after one as Christmas present

Just wanted to say that A was given one of these for Christmas last year and they are great - she loves it and it really is tough, she's dropped it loads of times!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

I've done soft play on my own (well, A's actually done it while I watched
), now A's a bit older, I often take a book and sit in the corner with a coffee and just keep any eye open for her.
The same has gone for the few times that I've ended up working away on my own, and eating out alone - I just take a book with me and try and find a quiet corner.Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Monday am having visits with DK and the lovely H & V
But I could come over Tuesday
I should be ok for washing as were going to MILs later on today and then again Wed, but will take a cuppa and gossip though.
Eeek need to go remove T from the dogs water bowl....again!
ha! Thomas was thinking the dog's water bowls at mum's were some kind of new swimming pool, he was nuts for them! And the dogs too, don't think they were impressed with him tho!
Have doc's appt first thing but what about coming over for about 11? We usually go to rhyme time at the library until 11 but as docs is at 9 the other side of beeches station, don't think we'll make it! Or later if thats better for you?0
