Really need some ideas for christmas presents for K...He will be 21mths at, likes cars, books, mega blocks and football...But I have all of them covered, he either already has something along that line, or I have it for him for christmas. Although any similar things, but that he hasn't got I could look into.
Also needs to be cheap (available with codes, or via ebay etc) I was pretty much done with the two little ones, but now my friend has given me a few extra things for T I need to add a couple of extras to K's pile:cool:
Heeeeeeeeeeeeelp please.......Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

ha! Thomas was thinking the dog's water bowls at mum's were some kind of new swimming pool, he was nuts for them! And the dogs too, don't think they were impressed with him tho!
Have doc's appt first thing but what about coming over for about 11? We usually go to rhyme time at the library until 11 but as docs is at 9 the other side of beeches station, don't think we'll make it! Or later if thats better for you?
No problemo 11 sounds fabSo will see you then. If you want to go out for a bit too am happy to do that, depending on weather or what there is around.
Just been to see BFs Nan as its her 80th and she loves T, she loved it there and had a good nosey around. Off to do a bit more xmas shopping now and T is worn out from her mini adventure, so she'll probably be sparko for a well.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

How did you guys know when your baby was ready to be weaned? Sophie's been showing a lot of the signs they say to look out for, so I tried her on a tiny bit of puree, which she really was not impressed with. I'm not bothered as such, as she's only 19 weeks. I'm still leaning more towards BLW, but totally clueless (as with parenting in general, I confess) Is it just a case of trying every so often, as she's developing so rapidly, that she might be capable in say 2 weeks, but not ready today iykwim.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

bexta, Edgar didn't show any signs either (and tbh I'm not sure I subscribe the those time to wean signs often spouted by HV's) We did BLW and I just waited until Ed could sit up, I just offered him bits n bobs but I'd guess he was more like 7 or 8mths old before he was interested and eating something remotely substantial everyday (my memory is a bit crap sorry)
I've just read about the Eastender's Christmas plot SPOILER LINK ALERT sounds like it will be tears all-round if any of you watch0 -
Ooh, that's going to be a raw plotline! But I thought there was a bit of time between them?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... weaning - funny, we're just trying that now (D is just a day older than your LO, Bexta). He's constantly interested in other people's food, he can't sit up completely yet, only in tripod position but he's very good in his highchair, he's guzzling 8oz bottles 5 times a day and hasn't really put on much weight recently so I've tried him the last couple of days with a spoon or two of baby porridge after or during his lunchtime bottle. It is not going well, he appears not to like spoons when he sees anything on them! Hand him one to play with and he'll gladly chomp on it but with anything on it, he's awful.
Tempted to try the BLW approach and present him with a mushy carrot stick or two next week and see what happens. I'm not overly bothered if he doesn't take anything just now, but given the above "signs", I plan to continue to offer him bits and pieces at lunchtime and see where we get to.0 -
I don't watch these days so I dunno Krystal.
I'm finally eating lunch now Edgar has let me get off the sofa, its rubbish thoheinz carrot & lentil soup, it's a thick as wallpaper paste and has too much pepper heat to it.
speaking of tinned food, have you tried the reduced sugar/salt beans? they are VILE _pale_0 -
We don't really watch it, just sometimes it ends up on while D puts the girls to bed... But I thought the one was close to the end and the other was the same as me...
Also, it'd never work... You'd know the difference straight away wouldn't you...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
