I bet she's having an amazing time. I hope you vetted your possible-future-DIL ;)

I'm planning the whole meal :D It looked so amazing

she's loving it :D although already had to take her an extra quilt and her FB contains comments like 'it's so cold up here' and 'can't believe it's dark when I wake up' :rotfl:

DS new girl is a sweetie

hope you enjoy the meal, we used boneless thighs (from asda) which were easier to eat ;)

Susan: I don't know if it's colic or not: it kinda adds up but then I still think Theo is reacting to his milk. I'm trying comfort milk so I'll see if that helps.!

Hammy: thanks :) doc/hv don't seem bothered by eczema, they just tell me 'babies get rashes' LOL

Sorry I've still not caught up, hope everyones ok *hugs* to anyone needing them.

Me and my little man are full of cold :( poor bubba we've been thru about 20 nappies today, he's feeding every 2 hours as it goes straight thru, he isn't feeding brill as his nose is blocked. He's been thru 10 sleepsuits. Just wish I could make him better :(

Our little lad's night terrors/wakings have gone from 1 a week to 1 nearly every night. Usually before 11pm thankfully. We do the usual reassurance/huggle and take him to the toilet afterwards. He goes straight back to sleep and seems non the wiser for it. But we can't pinpoint why they've got so regular, is this normal?

    Thanks for reading.

PS having thought about it they are usually around the same time between 9-10pm if that makes a difference.

DS1 had them very bad. Much googling and trial and error led us to the slight waking thing. He would go to bed at 7pm, terror at 10/11pm so we would wake him slightly at around 8.30-9pm which seemed to break the cycle and stop the terrors.

At age 9 he does still have them every now and again but not as bad and usually only when he has went to bed upset.

Do speak to your GP about it, but the waking them up does seem to work if you get the timing correct.

Mel, I'm sorry, I missed the pictures.

Would you repost? Not so we can all jump on and say how cute (course, we will) but because I am very broody since my baby is walking and no longer a baby and I do really want to see...

*hugs* It's bad enough being on your own without contending with a poorly baby too. Hope he gets it through his system soon. It might be worth checking with a pharmacy if there's anything you can give him to help rehydrate him. I gave T something, I think it might have been diarhalite (sp) when he was 12 weeks old and had an upset tummy.

Thanks Gill :) I hate being on my own I can't sleep at all! Hopefully my mum will pop over tom so I can go out and get something like you said to help rehydrate him and maybe some karvol as it might help me too. Feel awful as he's caught the cold off me :(

Don't feel bad Kitkat - you must have caught it off someone else! And you'll get plenty of colds and bugs off him over the next few years!

I need some help finding a toy for T. It's one he's been playing with at babygroup. It's a wooden frame with metal wiggly bits and little wooden things that he can move around the metal wiggly bits. It was encouraging him to sit up, and he could sit on his own when he was holding onto it so I want to get one for home, preferably with my amazon vouchers or cheap on ebay. Any ideas what it's called???

KK, it's one less for him to get :D

As the old ladies say, bit of fresh air works wonders. Crack open a window if and when you can and in the morning wrap him up and take him out for a walk.

    Hope he gets better soon.
