red - I'm sorry I haven't seen your pic. I'm guilty at not reading all the way back and as I'm not on everyday, do tend to miss things. However, rest assured that you aren't the only one to post a pic and not get comments
I presume this is because our LO's have made everyone speechless with their beauty.
I was a bit parnoid for a while as I seemed to always 'break' the thread. I've decided that it must be a coincidence.
I'm sending you hugs sweetheart x I know you've had tough time of things - but I also know that things are getting better toox
PS this wasn't meant to sound quite so patronising!*insert friendly hugging and laughing smilie*
r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
*hugs* Mel
Sorry I missed your photo and didn't comment on it. I'm guilty of skim reading on days when I have lots of work on, as I don't have time to read properly.
I know how you feel as I've felt upset when I've posted really important things and been totally ignored.
Hope you stick around and post more lovely pictures soon xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Aww Mel
I am sorry and have often thought how lovely your family are when you post pics, up to and including Ms Tiny.
And lol at Glad's latest manoeuvrings... welcome back Bailey! How old is he, I can't remember? Are they full-on night terrors? My 2 yr old wakes many nights crying and needs re-settling but goes down almost straight away as soon as you give him a 2 second cuddle. I've not given it much thought to be honestIs it being very difficult on you or him, or could it be "just a phase"?

Mel, I know how you felt, I've felt the same way when I've posted things and not really had much response (and I don't post pics or news of my kids anymore) but then I also know that I am guilty of just scanning through the thread and thinking nice pic but not posting or thanking or anything. Glad to hear you are feeling better after some time away though.
I'm off to bed now was just waiting to see if you all managed to get your orders through.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
Oh Mel, I'm so sorry. Your little girl is absolutely gorgeous (though I would like to see more photos please
). I sometimes struggle to catch up with everyone, but I do try and thank all posts that I see even if I don't comment which is meant to make up for my lack of communication.

Thanks....but don't feel like anyone has to explain or feel sorry for me. Like I say I just felt the need to explain for my own sake really!
Bailey, hi:) I don't have any direct experience of night terrors...my little brother had them and I remember my mum saying they became quite frequent, they then just stopped suddenly! I can't be sure how long they lasted or how often they were though, sorry.
Have you taken him to the doctors, they may be able to advise and they will look into it if it carries on for too long....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I just want to apologise for having a childish strop and not posting for a while...
basically, I posted a piccie of my beautiful baby girl and not one single person gave a nice comment, or any comment. Well 3 did.....she said...'isn't she getting big' SO in my paraniod mind I just assumed everyone thought she is an ugly troll which is why no-one commented:(
You guys know the struggle I went through for the first few months of her life and it has taken me a while to see her beauty and to really bond with her (which I have now done fully) and it felt like no-one even acknowledging the pic brought back some of my earlier feelings. I began to wonder if she was the lovely little thing I thought she was!!
I know that all sounds slightly mad, but I have NEVER seen a pic posted that hasn't had ANY comments, I lurked afterwards and a few peole posted pics which everyone then gushed over...this really hurt me tbh.........The fact that I was so upset by a load of imaginary people on an internet forum, made me realise that I needed some time away.....
Sorry for the long ramble, but I really felt like I needed to explain.......even if just for my sake:oAny question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

:grouphug: I've stalked you all the way back to 10th Spetember and haven't found your picture but usually I just thank photos rather than commenting as I can usually only think of inane things to say and I'm not that into baby photos. Earlier this year I was looking at photos of Alice when she was a baby and it was almost like looking at random baby photos. I'm probably strange though - most people seem to be into photos of babies.
