What did Beenie say? I'm so confluffled!
Mel - I wasn't posting on here for a bit, but I've seen pics of T before, and you do not have an ugly baby! I know this, because Keira resembled E.T for a while as a babyI'm sorry you were sad that no-one commented
I'd like to see how much she has changed, the only picture I can really recall is the one you posted of you holding her a few hours/days after she was born, but I remember it was a lovely picture
Hope you feel better about it x
How funny was inbetweeners btw? I was laughing my head off......
Thanks everyone, I'm glad my netbook is back (see avatar) It made the day so much better, Im complaining to royal mail as Im sick of their thieving posties, funny how bills always turn up but bday cards always go missing eh....Shocker....
Also, I'm going to complain about my postman too because he knocks on my door to hand me stuff that could TOTALLY FIT THROUGH THE LETTERBOX and does not require a signature. I sleep with old baggy vests on, one time my boob fell out! Maybe he wants to see it again? Either way, he better pack it in  I do not need 7am wake up calls, I left that behind when Keira was 5months0 -
Don't feel bad Kitkat - you must have caught it off someone else! And you'll get plenty of colds and bugs off him over the next few years!
I need some help finding a toy for T. It's one he's been playing with at babygroup. It's a wooden frame with metal wiggly bits and little wooden things that he can move around the metal wiggly bits. It was encouraging him to sit up, and he could sit on his own when he was holding onto it so I want to get one for home, preferably with my amazon vouchers or cheap on ebay. Any ideas what it's called???
We have the Ikea one that Elle linked to and H still loves it.
Amazon have these ones but I don't think they look as good and much less :money:.Buttonmoons wrote: »

OMG that made me :rotfl:. Your postman sounds like a douche though.
:hello:Mel- lovely to see you back.
I am feeling super efficient today and have sent two important emails already and paid all my bills online. I am super excited to have a day at home with my boy today after three straight days of volunteering/work. I fancy a sneaky trip to Ikea to look at Christmas bits and have a coffee and cake.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
(Hugs) Mel. That's poop and we're sorry, but I am guessing it has happened to us all at some stage, not that that makes it right.
I don't always comment but I always thank photos so when I post photos I cheekily take each thanks as someone saying 'he is gorgeous'please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Morning
Another busy day ahead with loads of work to do. Trying to cram way too much into this week, so I can take some time off next week in the school hols.
Have a good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Morning all, well the addition of a large fleece blanket to the cot did nothing for T last night and we still had as many wake ups! I really wonder how much longer this is gonna last I can cope atm cos I can have an afternoon nap if Im really sleep deprived but that wont be any good when I'm back at work!
Tried to move her bed time back a little last night but the poor mite still fell asleep at 7.30! Aless we could be joining you at 5am wake ups when the clocks change.
Am desperatley trying to get a bit more of a RL atm, there are quite a few new mums in our street (5 of us altogether) anyhoo dont chat to many of them but OH has gotten friendly with the bloke across the street so I plucked up the courage to ask his OH if she would like to come to baby group on Friday and she said yes and we swapped numbersthink its what we both need as she said she'd been looking for something to do.
Susan - I remembered you said you gave Alice coconut as a snack, when did you start her with it and do you get it ready prepared or just buy whole coconut? Am always trying to find healthy snacks that are a little different and T loves fruit and veg so she might like that too.
Gill - there usually call them bead maze's Im watching a couple on ebay atm, though as there heavy postage is a lil high on them! Apparentlyyou can find loads of them at NCT sales, so I was informed by a lady with twin toddlers at playgroup last week.
mel - glad to see you about hun x
BM - great avieeek at your pervy postman!
Not much doing here today, probably a bit of house work you know the usual exciting stuff...Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

MFD - I am not a serial thanker, but one thing I do thank is photos I like
I prefer not to post a reply every time unless I am posting about something else anyway.
E has had a miserable cough/cold for 5 or 6 days now, his coughing was very feeble this morningthink I am getting it too, quite grim-feeling this a.m.
On the up side however, FIL will be on his way to the airport in under an hourso final FIL mini-rants to cleanse my soul are
* his troublesome approach to money. Before leaving the US, he had a new debit card arrive, so immediately carefully cut up his old one with scissors. However, it was the new one he cut up.
He had a plan to do all spending in cash by withdrawing it on debit card, even though this costs him 5%/min $10 each time, whereas his credit card costs 3% and has better protection. With no debit card, he was still too afraid of his credit card to use it so I have lent him several hundred pounds while he has been here.
Which I will get back to OH's US bank account, then have to deal with transfer and charges and exchange rates etc
* his flight is at 3.30pm. He plans to get to the airport by 11am at the latest. I tried to talk him out of this (because OH goes to playgroup today and could've used the assistance on the walk) but he "wouldn't feel comfortable getting there later than that".
All doneno more FIL
Getting cold out there now! Had underfloor heating on for a little bit the last two nights but have not yet fully cracked with the room heaters and thermostats and such. Have a utility company credit built up at the mo, hoping it will carry us through the winter months...0 -
One of these, Gill?
That's the one Elle! I was at ikea last week tho bah. I wonder if quality save sell them?
GISI - I agree that the amazon one looks poo.
*hugs* Som - sounds like you're having a rough time of it at the moment. I know how tough it is coping with bad nights, especially when you're used to good ones! Thanks for the tip. No sales coming up near me unfMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

My grandparents have bought A that ikea bead maze for chrimbo.
I am still feeling rough today but A seems pretty much fine now so that's a relief.
