Hope all your little beauties are being good.
JM sounds like you have had a morning of it already, I hate the wet weather for the school run.

Daniel is currently ensconced in a Playhouse Disney magazine, whilst trying to eat a Thomas The Tank Engine phone.
Can someone please tell whomevers alarm that's going off to shut it up? It's rather annoying :mad:Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -

Having an mse day today - i.e staying inside and not going out and spending money
Had a pants evening last night. Don't rea;;y wnt to go into it here, but DH and I seem to hve very different ideas on few key things:o
anyway. feeling bit pants and sulking - which I realised wasn't good. I've put clothes washing liquid in the dishwasher:o ooooops :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
so I htought I'd moan here instead. I just wish I knew a practical way forward/illustrate my point to DH......I am of course the one who is right:D (though he didn't even like my compromise options)

We do the usual reassurance/huggle and take him to the toilet afterwards. He goes straight back to sleep and seems non the wiser for it. But we can't pinpoint why they've got so regular, is this normal?

Maz - I use a braun ear thermometer. Its pretty good. But we don't use it that much. It cost about £35 I think - we bought it in state of panic when she was ill the first time (about 2-3 months old) so a better model/bargain was probably to be found, but its serving us well at the moment. hope you don't need it because they are illr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

for your pants evening, Husband and I see a lot of key things differently too. The way we deal with it is talking about it like adults till I get bored and then I browbeat him
Normally if it's important enough for him to argue back we come to a compromise, if not I get my way.

We had a much better night at MFD towers - I asked the CM to only let Benjamin sleep for 1 1/2 hours yesterday. She said he was grumpy when he woke up (sat with his lip out rubbing his eyes for a few minutes) but he was fine.
He was very tired when I got him home which led to a few little strops *rolleyes* but he went down with only a little bit of wimpering just before 7pm and we didn't hear a peep until hubby got up at 7.10am.
So not ideal (having him grumpy, grumpy at us for the only time we spend with him each evening) but it gives us something to work with and we can see if we can change things slightly to suit us all.
Of course, I couldn't sleep at all *rolleyes*

thanks ss. I'm just annoyed as I thought I was compromising and meeting him in the middle, but he can't see it that way. I feel so strongly on the point too, but he doesn't seem to even see my line of reasoning, let alone hear it :rotfl:redstararnie76 wrote: »Wow - well done R.Mac - what have you won?r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
