Going to the shops was quite hard work. I'm not quite wishing I didn't go, because now I have food to eat, but I do need a little sit down before I go and prepare anything. I might be less productive than I anticipated this afternoon.

Oh bless her! A's told us that she's never going to get married because she wants to live with us forever. She did waver on this when she learnt that the only way she can become a real princess is to marry a prince, but now she's decided that she's not going to marry a prince because she doesn't want to have to live with a king and queen. Alice once cried and said she didn't want to get married to a man because she didn't want to leave us.
