Sami I'd be pretty mad about something like that too. Some things might be personal preference but aside from the legal aspect not putting a child in their car seat properly is very dangerous.

Now scaring myself reading about VBAC's - anyone got any really good links / info?? Really should call GP I guess - or perhaps just bypass and go straight to the midwife I had on the high risk team before? Or maybe just go into denial for a few weeks, yes, that's a good plan, I like that.

Glad I am not the only one with the problem MIL, although *hugs* to those of you who have! She just angers me so much, she always goes on that I should stand my ground so I do with her and then apparently I'm in 'one of my moods'... !!!!!!??!?! My mum is so relaxed, she will say to me 'oh back in my day we did this but times change, and everyone has their own way of doing things', I even sometimes have to ask her how she did certain things so she can advise me as she doesn't like butting in. I love love to move miles away from MIL but I know that would make me further away from my lovely mum :) and I know MIL would try blag free holidays if we lived anywhere near the coast.

The cheeky so and so even said 'so what time are we coming over on xmas day', I said to her ask OH as me and T won't be here LOL. Spending christmas with her.. I couldn't imagine anything worse...

    Use the following:

"One of MY moods, did it even occur to you that my MOODS only ever happen when you are here? I believe the common factor here is YOU!"

"Theo is my son, I shall raise him as I see fit, and if I choose to feed him, and he doesnt want it, he'll soon tell me wont he?!"

    And my personal favorite

    "HECK OFF YOU DEPLORABLE WOMAN!!!"

Carry on people, I'm just venting my utter vengance on the world...

and p.s I cant come to the meet....:(

I use to live there, but this was very much pre-baby! :rotfl: Pre-DH as well! Looking to avoid the centre if possible as well as avoiding the usual Buckinghama palace etc as I've seen it ll before and LO too young to appreciate that stuff in this weather! :D

    Don't google! ;)

I've had a VBAC, and it was fine! They will probably give you consultant care and keep a close eye on you towards the end to make sure everything is as it should be.

I got a couple of extra scans towards the end to check positioning, but that may have been because my em.c/s was because he was undiagnosed breech.

Always - it comes down to the reason why you had a c-section in the first place. Best plce to start is with your GP or your MW (when you get one). In the meantime denial is ag ood plaace - it's a favourite of mine :D
