Thanks lovelies, going to Tesco shortly so will try and find the staydown milk and buy in a tin if the gaviscon doesn't seem to take effect in a week or so. He doesn't take much water and when he does that too generally dribbles out. I've also noticed (since I've been looking!) that quite often when he has water with his food, he will throw up his food, where he doesn't tend to without.

The above sounds very much like, how Alex was. When he was on gaviscon and before the reflux milk. Water came straight back up as did any food he had around the same time. This has now righted itself. I'm afraid it may be trial and error for a while.

Sorry Bruno, I giggled a bit too. Husband was much the same as you towards the end of my pregnancy, I found it hard to walk places and he kept insisting I took taxis. What I found though was that I didn't want to waste the money or be captive to my body's temporary ridiculousness.

I was ok with the first pregnancy! But this time round, we live up a steep hill and we have a very ferociously active toddler. So if she tries to walk it is much harder and much less flexible than if she were doing it on her own at whatever pace suited her - either she tries to keep up with him, or she forces him to stay with her which is itself very draining.

My parents' early Christmas present to us is a jarful of mini-cab money so she has no excuse! ;)

I adore books but I am more of a book abuser :o. Books are to be enjoyed in my mind - read them in the bath, I write in them - I enjoy them :p - DH is the opposite and can't even abide creased spines - we NEVER share books :rotfl:

I struggle to write in books. A previous uni tutor told me off as my books were nice and tidy and she said they should have notes scribbled all over them. I find it really hard to write notes in text books, as I can hear my Mam telling me off for destroying books every time I do it :o

DH was loading Daisy and shopping into car (it was a Boots next to a Sainsburys) so I mentioned the condoms to him... he didn't want to go buy them either!!!:rotfl:

We've decided that if they are still there next time we go it's a "sign" and we will ALL go and buy them!;) That's me, DH and Daisy... as long as 14 yr old DS isn't with us!!! Can you imagine his face if he was with us!!?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I would be tempted to buy them if he was there, but I'm an embarrassing parent :o:rotfl:

    I got a B on my first assignment :j

    Yay - well done :j

*hugs* to all the poorly ones.

Charlotte is back to normal now. She was sick in her hair and I just sponged it out with a flannel during the night, but I noticed her hair smelled bad when I was tying it up this morning. When we saw my Mam, Charlotte asked if she could have a bath at her house because her hair was minging :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

Also feeling sorry for myself as Ive got a scratchy throat - but keep telling myself I've not to complaain because there are lots of los and mummies much sicker than me today. so hugs to all those people.

Making the man buy the condoms is pretty acceptable, no? Men get to feel all manly and so forth.
*look world, I need condoms! See me roar!*

Men like that kind of thing. Ish.

OK, it can be quite embarrassing.

We've all ended up with such cute little bundles which make me laugh every day. *shudders to think they might grow up and become teenagers*

Having a teenager is a constant reminder of what babies become!:rotfl:I'm really struggling with the fact that Daisy is no longer a "newborn" especially when I see newborn babies:( I asked her earlier to stop growing... and now she's not having much milk!! Ooops - she must of took me seriously!

Becles... I think DS is probably embarrased enough by me having a baby (and knowing what we did to obtain such baby) so wont make him suffer more by condom buying!;):rotfl:

Bruno, I can understand her stubbornness...she doesn't want to feel like some sort of invalid, dependent on taxis. It's a psychological, special brand of pregnancy stubbornness. Much like scrubbing floors at 10pm, etc. (not that I ever did this! :p)

Smartie: I get incredibly embarrassed buying condoms too, OH used to buy them on eBay but I too think of the boots points! Cannot stand the things though! Why is all contraception horrible?!

When i need them, I get condoms from the family planning clinic (on pill so don't use them much these days though) :) Latex free condoms are expensive! lol
