    :hello:

Advice time :D How do we convince Andrew what "food" is? He'll happily eat most things from a spoon (although he still has preemie-style gagging & vomiting issues with lumps, so we're stuck on EKst2 pouches). He'll happily put a toy, a dodie, his feet into his mouth. But he won't pick up any food with his own fingers, and he's really disinterested in me holding food to his mouth for him to suck or bite. It's as if food only comes from spoons now. Can we skip straight to the point where he holds & loads the spoon himself? ;) Suggestions please!

I need to cut Ts nails they are scratchy and she is hurting me with them while she feeds, she wont stay stiill though!

Am very jelous of those with sleeping babies T is waking every 60/90min atm!
O cut nails while they're asleep, easiest when T's age is to have the clippers ready before a feed and let her have a nap on you while you snip :)

Thank you everyone :) I got a card from my mum and Idris and that was it :( Feeling pretty upset if I'm honest. Keira is being a horrible wicked child today, and I'm just thoroughly down about being robbed etc aswell.

Oh well, never rains, it pours.

So is that NAUGHT NAUGHTY secret santa thing not happening now?? Or is it but in even more secret??;) I wasn't going to join in but just wanted to say it's a shame it can't be done on here... in the spirit of that festive time of year and all that!

There'll be a rule on here soon saying you can't meet up with MSE'rs in real life or you'll be BANNED!!!! I'd have to give my husband back if that was the case;):rotfl:And you'll all have to stop meeting up with Dave the builders!:p

The thing I find most annoying is that some of my friends still keep asking if Alice can have a biscuit or a chocolate or a sweet even though they know I don't let her have them. I don't try to pressure them into changing what snacks they give their children and the only reason attention is still drawn to what I'm doing is because they keep on bringing it up by offering things.

I think this is very rude. I do give my kids junk, BUT if I have friends over I make sure I only offer snacks/drinks that they are happy with. Given that they are my friends I tend to take notice of what they have said, and am therfore aware who allows what:p

ETA - I got a thing from tesco today saying they are changing the clubcard deal, from 6th Dec the 4x deals will be 3x so you'll need more points to get them :(

    I got this today too:(

Apparently the secret to getting my baby to eat something is to be seen to eat it myself. She's just poached half my lunch :o

Remember I had to change our dinner time around because K would ONLY eat when we were.
My mum also said my little brother went through a phase whereby he would ONLY eat from her plate, so she basically had to add his portion of food onto hers;) I think she said this went on for quite a few weeks!
