I think I'm in a bit of a bad mood actually... There were half a dozen other things I wanted to rant on about, but I'll stop there for fear of boring everyone....
I was in a permanent bad mood when I was pregnant with Alice but I didn't realise till afterwards. I don't know how OH put up with it.

Me too if I was eloquent enough to think of the words.

Does anyone know a good recipe for using green tomatoes?

Hi Gill, it sounds like they're at quite a similar stage. Freddie isn't sitting yet, he just gradually falls over or ends up eating his foot! He's pretty strong, so I think it's just a matter of time. He's enjoying the weaning and his sleeping's really improved - I think the food's helped. He's now getting really hungry and he'll cry if I'm not quick enough at giving him a spoonful - greedy little monkey :)
    How arre you getting on?

Weaning has made a big difference for us too. He's so happy and cheery after a meal, where the last couple of weeks he's been really whingey. I'm pretty sure it's made a big difference to his sleeping as the last 2 nights have been fab after a difficult couple of weeks. He's loving his food (not a surpise as his Mummy is a greedy guts lol) and will lean right forward to the spoon to get it as quickly as he can! He's not refused anything yet but it's all been pretty bland stuff so I'll see what happens when he moves onto things like broccoli.

We have lots of foot eating too, they're his favourite toy atm! I got him some socks from peacocks which are like a football (as in covered in black and white hexagons) and he is fascinated by them.

If it helps Sami (and I can't see why it should), the two Brunos I am named after are Giordano Bruno, and Bruno from 'Sylvie & Bruno'. Both of whom had their good points!

Sorry many people are feeling troubled today - but glad scan seems to have been ok Krystal :) and happy birthday Buttons!

Susan - the suggestion I usually run across is green tomato chutney.

Sami, what about judge Bruno from Strictly? :p

Susan - MIL made a nice chutney with Green Tomatoes, she posted the recipe on FB so I'll go dig it out for you :)
I now have a hankering to watch Fried Green Tomatoes at The Whistle Stop Cafe, love that film!

My absolute most favourite teddy bear from my childhood (and early adulthood!) was called Bruno :) My Dad named him. My Mum has his safe somewhere but he isn't in very good nick these days poor thing.

I was going to ask you for a recipe but I see Sami is looking for one. (Unless you want to race her.)

Apparently the secret to getting my baby to eat something is to be seen to eat it myself. She's just poached half my lunch :o
