morning!
am pee'd off with DH.
he went out yesterday to watch the match. so had 4 pints. then bought some cans for rest of day/night. So once K had gone to bed I was making our tea and said. Ooh i'll have a drink and he went 'well if you want some i'll have to buy more'. He had 9 cans in the fridge and wouldnt even let me have one. So i jsut went...dont bother i wont have any. So i sat on the couch watching x factor and some other programmes i had recorded. hardly spoke to him. and went to bed at whenhe went' shall i come up as well?' i just said...do younot want to drink the rest of your cans? so he knew i was !!!!ed off with him. Then when i came down this morning, there was a half empty one beside the couch and a one still in the fridge...so i could have had one as now he'll moan all day that there is nothing worse than only having 1 can...in the hope i'll say buysome more. but he will be waiting a long time for me to say that. Teh selfish git!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Does this only apply to vote for me posts? Otherwise that's a harsh rule and isn't enforced anywhere else.linking to the post on other threads would also be against the rules and deleted sorry
Anyhoo, we're in need of Huggies 4+ does anyone know what the best deal is at the moment?? Last time i bought some they were £5 (with a usual price of £8.98 not sure how many in pack) so hoping there's a similar deal on somewhere atm?
I'm kinda wishing we persevered with Pampers as there seems to be more offers on and MOC's but i don't think i'd want to change now

I agree. If you want to join in then you can, if you don't want to join in you can either lurk or go away. I do accept that sometimes people are inadvertently ignored but the same king of thing can happen IRL too and an internet forum isn't some Utopia where we magically become perfect so I don't see why people get all het up about what we do/say and who we are supportive of. I've disagreed with people on lots of issues and been in the minority on occasions but I've never taken it personally as I know it was merely my opinions people didn't like and I have never felt that people were against me as a person just because they disagreed with me on a given point.I don't understand why that thread in the Arms was locked - nor why people feel so strongly about this thread? I dived right into the pregnancy thread, not knowing anyone (and not being a huge poster; mostly a lurker and sticking to Comps & O/S!), and then 'graduated' over here. Never felt excluded or on the outside. I think people who DO tend to feel like don't quite understand how internet forums work - they are entirely organic things! I've been on forums for eons now, so maybe that represents a different attitude for whom MSE may be their first real regular place. *shrug*
You're not tight fisted - we'll probably end up having spent about £40 on Alice because we got a big present which was £30 and that's probably the most we've spent on her for a Christmas or birthday.Oh dear, seems I'm a very old fashioned tight fisted Mummy. We're worried about our financial future at the moment, knew this was gonna happen after the election result. *sob*Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Jillie if Husband was whinging about there only being one of something in the fridge I'd take the one he had and put it somewhere he wouldn't think to look, and if he moaned then ask if there actually *is* something worse than only having one and tell him to go buy his own and get me one while he's there.
And then after I'd drunk the one he brought me I'd get out the second one and see what he said.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Maz has a spreadsheet where she keeps all the latest prices, hopefully she will pop in later.
Asda usually have huggies in their Baby Event though, if you can get to one and you are lucky you might find that they are selling them off cheap! (The baby event has just finished!)
MAZ - if you are around do you know where the best place for Active Fit size 5's is ATM?please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman
