Charlotte spent her Christmas money on more Barbie stuff, so I had to help keep changing her outfit this afternoon as she kept going to different parties and then she went shopping in Marks and Spencer, before doing some work on her laptop.
She said her teddy got a job in a big Tesco just off the motorway. He's in charge of yoghurt and chocolate and has to borrow Barbie's car to drive to work.
I've no idea what goes on in her head some days
Oh she is ace, this made me grin.
Caz those sound like do-able resolutions to me. I try and only make do-able ones... but then the same ones seem to come round each year - I was making resolutions to have more of a social life before Izzy came along. There is no hope for me is there
No cbeebies on our tv today for some reason, so we are on milkshake. It's nice to have a change. Izzy was with the in-laws yesterday and she seems to have had a lovely time, but she keeps telling me to go make tea now. She doesn't seem to want it herself so I don't think they were sharing it with her, she is just bossing me about. I should get used to it really, I'm sure she will be doing that for years. and she has nicked my breakfast after telling me she didn't want it, but that was the planIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

I'm trying that too - I was considering another fitness type challenge, this one using Wii Fit/Just Dance/Your Shape each once a week for 30 minutes, but there's no way I can manage that and it'll just discourage me.
:rotfl: @ Charlotte, she's lovely.
And those sound like very doable resolutions all round. Go us!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I need some new years resolutions. Lose weight being the obvious one! Can't stand being the size I am and I've not braved a set of scales in over a year, although at least I didn't really put any on with Squeak, the damage was done before
My nan is picking the older girls up today, then Squeak has jabsI wanted to go out but I'll feel guilty if I take a just-jabbed baby out, so may just come home and sleep (not that I'll lose weight doing that lol but the doctor did say I should sleep in the day!)
So much housework to do, I don't even want to look at the dirty washing basket, it's seriously overflowing and I've got wet beds to change as well.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hello
Hope you're all well. My NYR is definitely to lose weight. I went on the Wii fit last night and it told me I'd not been on for 706 days! I am 6lb heavier than when I last went on and am obese! My BMI is 30 and my first goal is to lose 7lb in a month. I also bought Just Dance 2 the other day which is really good. So last night I did the step aerobics, hula hoop then jogging with DH. Can only go on Wii fit at night though as Caitlyn just keeps standing on the board otherwise!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

Hello
We are staying at home for new year, my mum invited us to hers as she is having a big party, but It isn't my scene at all. They basically all just aim to get as drunk as possible, there is no decent conversations and everyone just sort of stands or sits about in groups...Sister's group, Brother's group, Mum's group...they intermingle a bit, but are all barely able to walk by midnight anyway! Add that to the fact that I have a 6mth old baby and a tot who are both usually in bed by 7pm anyway, I really can't be bothered. I did invite my friend round but her husband is working both new years eve and new years day, so they are going to stay home and have a nice quiet night themselves...I don't blame them really:)
New years Resolutions...
I have been thinking about this for the last few days actually. Mainly because I have felt like I have been run ragged and haven't had time to pluck my eyebrows, or dye my hair...tbh I haven't even had time to make a decent lunch for myself either!
So I have picked mine carefully as I want them to be achievable.
1. Lose 2 stone.
2. Spend 1 evening per week sorting myself out (i.e plucking, epilating, bathing, dying...or whatever else needs doing to stop me looking like an old fishwife)
3. Get back into reading.
They are my own personal ones....I also have a long list of things I want/need to achieve in 2011, but whether I manage to do most of these...who knows!!
Fix motorbike
Fix car
Decorate and organise the whole house - Especially the kitchen.
Sort out the garden and get a gate on the driveway
Save for our 10yr anniversary holiday
Spend more quality time with the kids
Spend more quality time with DH
Sort out the kids clubs/swimming lessons
Sell/donate all the baby clothes, maternity clothes and other baby related stuff from the attic.
Write a budget and stick to it...accounting for school clothes, birthdays etc..
Take my CBT and get my full motorbike licence
Decide which Open University course to take and register for it.
Walk the dog more.
PHEW...I think that's everything!
I have been out the front trying to teach the older two to ride a bike....We have been mean parents and just never taught them. I am pleased to announce I have had a breakthrough with ds1 and he can now ride is lovely new shiny bike that santa brought him....he is absolutely chuffed to bits:D Ds2 isn't far behind but is lacking confidence and panics if I let go of the seat...another few times out and he should master it. I am very proud of myself, although I feel guilty that I have left it this long.
I hope everyone is well, haven't had much time to pop in lately sorry for the long post xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0
