Thanks for the reply. I know when i was front line staff we got issued those but last 3 years been working under engineering staff who are not entitled to them. Was hoping to be able to sort out in one letter but thinking i might be a few for this.

there is nothing dodgy about claiming what you are entitled to claim0 -
Can you still claim back if you choose to wash your uniform at home. As I take my apron home to wash, because if I dont the recruitment agent who comes in the morning, takes my nice one and gives it to her temporary workers.
btw how much can you claim back per year?0 -

why do you say "choose" - does you employer provide laundry facilities at work?
what industry do you work in? Why do you need an apron - is it personal protective equipment?

Hi folks
Please can anyone confirm please, if Uniform rebate is to be applied for each year, or does this continue? (unless you change jobs of course) thanks in advance. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Once you have applied and received notification from HMRC,you tax code will change. This will continue until either you leave that employment or tell HMRC you no longer qualify for it.(Debt Jan 2014 LBM £34,000) Current 2016 "Problems" as follows:

Woohoo!!!! Finally got around to doing this, I've been in a uniformed role for 5 years now, got a very tasty £250 back....
However, I am very frustrated that I forgot to ask for the money in a lump sum, so instead they changed my tax code
Oh well, at least I got it, thanks MSE!!! :money::j Comping on & off since 31/08/12 :beer:I comp for fun... and to kill the boredom!0
