OS meet in Edinburgh Nov 27

since most of us seem to be taking the train in, I think meeting at Waverley station will probably be easier than tarbucks on the Mile, and saves the knees having to climb Mount Cockburn Street! Shall we say outside WH Smith? Then we can head up to Princes St Gardens from there. I will edit my first post with the date and place to save any confusion!
I'd be happy to meet around lunchtime, but I'm pretty flexible, what does everyone else prefer time-wise?0 -

Lunchtime would probably work well for those of us coming from further afield but not staying the night - time to get there and see everyone without making it too late a night for travelling home.Household: Laura + William-cat

And Jackieglasgow can keep some mobile numbers and let us know what time her train gets in and some of us can go and fetch her. The RV wouldn't be seen dead in a crowd of "batty wimmen"...:) he will stay at home and play with his bike or else visit the son who lives in Edinburgh.0

batty wimmen? does he not realise that we are all sophisticated elegant ladies?0

Disappointment folks....the fares I priced don't apply for suitable flights at the weekend.....best I can come up with is over €200 which, when added to however little spending money would make it rather more expensive than would suit at present. Will see what I can do to-morrow....have a Ryanair voucher which has the wrong name on it will ring them and see what can be done (if anything).
So relax all....take that pin out of your nose Mardatha and put it on your coat, and tell that RV that he is just afraid of us all!

I don't mean to be rude, but is there anyone under 30 going? I would go, but feel the age difference may hinder conversation.0 -
