Poundland were selling a calcium and iron supplement for £1 as well as vitamin B complex at £1last week. That saved me some as I usually buy from Asda at 2 for £4. Should be self expanatory to women of a certain age and money saving as well.
Thankyou nutsohazelnuts.0 -
I would be happy to move over to the moneysavers arms if thats what it takes to keep this thread which is giving us all a bit of support/understanding/empathy/sanity - I could go on.0

For this reason I believe that support threads should not be closed or moved when they become a little chatty. The chat itself is money saving as a lifeline of support for people.
Have some compassion and empathy please The Powers That Be.
Hear blimmin Hear! That's pretty much how I see it too.
I wouldn't want this thread to get lost in The Arms and have all kids of juvenile bozos posting nonsense all over it. We're safer left undisturbed here.
It is relevant to this board and it is relevant to moneysaving. Keep it here. Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
Hi everyone,
The last couple of days I have felt better than I have for nearly a year...and I don't know why! Very strange..I seem to have endless energy ....haven't had any 'flushes' for a while...can sleep through anything....I wonder why...and I wonder if its gonna last...hope so.0 -
Dogcat, I had that same energy when my periods briefly stopped! So wonder if it`s something to do with that? `Course, when they come back it`s back on the treadmill again, tsk."Ignore the eejits...it saves your blood pressure and drives `em nuts!"0

wouldn't it be great if you have come out on the other side of it. Whatever it is enjoy enjoy enjoy and the best of luck.:)0
-
Hi Red Doe...I don't know if its that..'cos my periods stopped ages ago....Months......and I've felt rubbish ever since.0
-
Eek, sorry to hear that dogcat, but hopefully the past couple of days will be a turning point for you now.
I`ve had a couple episodes where I missed menstruating, expected to feel rubbish when that happened, instead I felt great! Full of energy, calm and actually happy! Got a feeling it was a cross between lack of wildly fluctuating hormones, and me niavely thinking, ooh great, it`s done with at last, lol
(ETA. MS wise, when I am feeling at my worst means I spend money I don`t have on hopeful sounding `special` menstruation supplements that in the end do squat for me...and can I just say it`s getting daft having to always add an MS reference in almost every post to save being reported to abuse)

i think it comes and goes, i know my flushes etc are much worse at times than at others. i also feel more confident at certain times - trouble is there is no rhyme or reason to the times
oh and on a moneysaving note my supplements are BOGOF all the timeWhen you know better you do better0 -
Yeah...I also was thinking of buying some special herbal thingies.....can't do any harm can it? Sometimes my heads all over the place and my words come out all wrong!0
