The £7.50 deal was for new customers only, therefore if you were already with T-Mobile (even out of any contract period) you couldn't have this deal as that would be classed has an upgrade.
So the way around it was to take the deal with a new number (so new contract) and to transfer your current number to a PAYG on a different network and then transfer it back onto the new sim.
Pointless I know and more work for T-Mobile, but if its the only way.....0 -
I was effectively upgrading. When they first did the £7.50 deal they were being funny about putting existing customers on it, but I did mine in the second cohort and they were fine with it. I did have to basically tell the CS rep what to put into the computer though to get the deal!
Just ask for PAC and transfer it to another network's sim then ask for another PAC after 30 days and transfer it back.0 -

after the £7.50 deal finished
did anyone manage to sign up for the next deal, it was advertised at £15, however you could haggle it down to £10
if so what are you being billed for, I'm being billed/charged £12.77, have queried this, yet Tmobile say its correct, I don't think so
hence the plea for confirmation

Possible answer :-
£12.77 + vat (at the old 17.5% ) comes to £15 , this is what my bill says as well BUT I then get a "Loyalty" reward of £2.50 & £5 (I got the £7.50 deal . Might be worth checking to see if you have a Loyalty reward of £5 which would bring you to your £10 tariff ?0 -

thanks for the explanation, it makes sense, even though this was never mentioned in this format
have checked my online account, it states £12.77 for plan & £4.26 loyalty discount, suppose this will be right
funny how 2 foreign call centre advisor's couldn't explain that, they also stated the £15 > £10 discount deal,
anyway
thanks for clearing in up0 -
HI,
I rang t-mobile today and they said this tariff is for £15 and has was for £7.50 in november0 -
My bill's just come in at £7.66. I presume this is due to the VAT increase.0
