Im sure somebody mentioned (n this thread) that the iPhone and the HTC are data hungry and require some sort of HSPDA speed.
Don't know what it means but I'm sure there was something mentioned earlier on.0 -

I managed to get the £10 T-Mobile deal this afternoon by calling T-Mobile direct on 0800 956 2208, the SIM card will be delivered tomorrow to my work address before 1pm by Royal Mail signed for delivery.
Tariff Details
600 minutes
500 text messages
unlimited internet (fair use policy applies)
* Flexible Booster - unlimited landline calls (fair use policy applies)
The sales advisor from the Welsh sales centre said that the £7.50 per month tariff was initially offered by a sales advisor by 'mistake'. After the word spread about the fantastic £7.50 deal T-Mobile could not cope with the call volumes. He said that they had so many calls it made better business sense to answer the calls and honour the £7.50 tariff than turn people away. He also said that it was the only way to get the call volumes down as well as so many people were calling in for the deal.
He advised me that the £7.50 per month tariff is NO LONGER BEING OFFERED and the same deal is available for £10 per month. This is still a fantastic deal regardless, especially as T-Mobile customers can now use Orange signal and vice-versa.
The sales agent was really honest about the situation regarding the 'mistake' and really friendly, call only took about 5 mins to complete! I had previously connected to the Tesco Mobile deal consisting of £10 for 500 mins, unlimited texts & unlimited data (fair use policy applied). **The customer service was awful and they mucked up the application, long story ..... So I will be cancelling the Tesco SIM**0 -
Whats the fair use policy on the data ?0

If it's the same deal as in the rest of the thread then I'd think it was 3gb.
I've been doing some reading re. my earlier question and I think a 'non iphone' tariff will stop visual voicemail from working and would also not allow me to use BTOpenzone or cloud wifi. Not necessarily a dealbreaker, but I'm a bit wary of going on a tariff that would stop parts of my phone from working, no matter how cheap it is.

Its only O2 that does visual voicemail and i dont think theres an option for wifi with tmobile on this deal.0

Just called T-mobile and they said there's no such deal :-( so disappointed. I'm currently a T mobile customer but my contract has expired so was actually looking to get the 10 per month deal as above. is this deal only for new customers or maybe i am just unlucky.0

Call again - you might have better luck with a different sales advisor0

Call this number 0800 956 2208 or 07953966150 and ask for T Mobile sales (or direct sales). Insist on being put through to the sales team if they try to bandy you about.
Ask for the specific deal as mentioned in the first post of this thread, it's now being offered at £10/month.
You might have to join as a new member i.e. new number etc. but ask if they can give it to you as a retention deal.
The deal is still on in spite of what the rep told you, they tried to claim ignorance of the deal with me but push for the sales team.Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -
Thank You for your advise. I've got the deal finally. Spoke to the sales person and she immediately confirmed that the deal was still on. however, i needed to join as a new customer. asked if they could do a retention or loyalty deal for me but she said that's not possible. i didn't argue further as i was just pleased to be offered the deal after having such a hard time with them for the past few days.
Many thanks again.0
