    I've been Money Tipped!
Well, I had to make it and didn't get any replies as I guess everyone was having their meals when I posted the request.

    :)

    Here's what I did.

Sliced a few spuds into 1cm thick slices, put in the mircowave with some sliced onions and a couple of tablespoons of water and cooked them covered on high for 5 mins.

Smeared a bit of butter on the bottom of a casserole dish, put in a layer of the pots then a few of the onions on top, then a layer of 1cm sliced corned beef, followed by a layer of sliced toms.

Ground a bit of mixed pepper on top and repeated the layer again.

Finished with some thinly sliced black pepper mature chedder and cooked for 30 mins at 200degrees in the middle of the oven.

    It was bloomin' lovely!

Plus it was a cheap meal as I used mostly leftovers.

    :)

Will def be cooking that again.

I have done a cornbeef recipie for years I have always used tinned cornbeef my friend told me about it and I have always done it slightly different each time but here goes
boil up some rice drain rice add cornbeef onion and tabasco, chilli powder tin of tomates (chopped) any other spices you like to add heat it all up and serve looks a bit like dogfood but tastes really good and I can't stand cornbeef cold so good luck if you give it a go.
Make £5 a day in May total so far £2
  • Any one got a good corned beef hash recipe or anything else for corned beef???

You can make a variation of scouse with corned beef - basically just add sliced potato, sliced onion and beef stock and cook long and slow. Common additions include another veg (carrot/ parsnips/ cabbage/ celery) and Worcestershire sauce or Marmite.
