Seen as I have been looking at everyone else's hash recipes thought I should share mine!
Mine is more like a shepherds pie really:
Fry onions till soft ( I like to add balsamic vinegar)
Add in a dollop of garlic pur!e, tomato pur!e, kidney beans, baked beans, mushrooms and my secret ingredient.... !refried beans! - spicy if Tesco has them
Cook it down for about 15 mins, add bit of water if it dries out....
Top with mashed spuds or whatever I like sweet potato and carrot mash best...
I serve it with veg and gravy...sounds weird but its so yummy!0 -
I absolutely love to spread a tortilla with mayonnaise, then some mixed lettuce leaves, cucumber and tomatoes and then a good helping of corned beef (Usually 2 slices) Roll up and enjoy.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

As corned beef is getting so expensive nowadays if I see a large tin on offer I buy it and open and cut in half and wrap in foil and freeze
I live alone so a large tin is too much to eat in one go for me
I can remember when corned beef was one of the cheapest mid-week meals you could get0 -

I was shocked when i saw how expensive it has gone too, Asda smartprice is now £2 a tin  Cheapest i've found is Lidl where it is £1.54. I like to have a few tins in especially in winter as Corned beef hash is one of our faves when it's freezing outside.
