Mmmmm corned beef hash...
potatoes mashed
1 large tin of corn beef
1 tin of baked bean
1 med sized onion
mushrooms finely choped
mixed herbs
brown sauce
pack of ready salted crisps cushed and broken
in fryin pan melt down the corn beef, add the herbs, onion and mushrooms and continue to fry until goldern brown, throw in the baked beans leave to simmer for 5 (make a cuppa) add brown sauce and then pour out of frying pan into a appropriate sized oven dish leave to cool a bit (this makes next bit easier) cover with the mashed potatoe (can add cheese on top if you want) then sprinkle the broken crisps over the top and throw in oven for 25 mins or until piping hot.

Have you tried Corned Beef Quiche?
line a dish with short crust pastry, then add a tin of chopped corn beef, and some grated cheese. Mix together eggs, milk, S & P bake until cooked
We have it with chips and beans.
It's a really cheap dish and if theres any left over it's great in pack-up or luch the next day0 -
After buying 6 tins of corn beef in Asda yesterday at a bargain price I am now wondering what to make with them, please anyone ideas needed, I can make corn beef stew but that's about it, please take into consideration I live alone so if you could suggest anything it would be really appreciated.

Hi Viv- Not sure what this recipe is called- Corned beef hash I think- Saute onion and garlic (or choose not to have them)- add sliced tomato- add chopped potatoes (really tiny cubes), when potato cooked, add corned beef and seasoning- yummy- we especially enjoy it with boiled rice, carrots and greens.0

Red Flannel Hash is nice.
Chopped potatoes, corn beef, fried. Then add chopped beetroot (not the pickled kind but the pre-boiled packs in the fresh veg section)
Fry and then grill to make the outside crispy.

When I am feeling REALLY poor I eat corned beef with pasta.
Dollop of red pesto, a chunky slice of corned beef cubed, salt and pepper, parmesan if you have it and voila, cheap and filling dinner. Eaten this way a tin of corned dog can last me at least 5 meals!!!!!

Corned beef cut in cubes, cubed cooked potato, peas(tinned or frozen), fried onion if you have any, couple of your tinned tomatoes cut in half, some of the juice.
Put everything in a casserole dish, crumble an oxo cube over, put on lid and heat thro in oven or microwave0
